Maruyama Backpack Blowers and Mister Dusters
Maruyama U.S. Inc., of Denton, Texas announced a voluntary recall of Gasoline-Powered Backpack Blowers and Mister Dusters because the gasoline tank can split and leak fuel, posing a fire hazard to consumers. A complete list of model and serial numbers can be found here. The affected blowers and dusters were sold at authorized service dealers nationwide from April 2008 through December 2010 for between $320 and $820.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to the nearest dealer for a free replacement fuel tank. For additional information, contact Maruyama toll-free at (866) 783-7400 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. CT Monday through Friday or visit the firm’s website.
Gasoline-Powered Backpack Blowers
Kawasaki Motor Corp. U.S. A., of Irvine, California has recalled about 3,400 Gasoline-Powered Backpack Blowers because the gasoline tank can split and leak fuel, posing a fire hazard to consumers. For a complete list of model and serial numbers, go here. The recalled blowers were sold at authorized service dealers nationwide from August 2008 through February 2011 for between $420 and $490.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to the nearest dealer for a free replacement fuel tank. For additional information, contact Kawasaki Motor toll-free at (877) 364-6404 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or visit the firm’s website .
