Buzzillions: Product Reviews for Real Moms

It’s not every day that I get to introduce my readers to a new shopping resource plus offer them cash incentives for their opinions on it! Yep, you read that right. Today I’d like to tell you a little bit about Buzzillions.com, and then I want to hear what you think about it.

Buzzillions, at its most basic, is a hub for product reviews. However, unlike many other sites that offer product reviews, Buzzillions is not trying to sell you anything. You can browse reviews from verified buyers, and you get both sides of the story – pros, cons, likes, dislikes – and finally whether or not the reviewer would recommend the product to a friend. All of this is presented in a review snapshot with a detailed review underneath.

Now you’re probably waiting for me to give my opinion on it, but I don’t want to influence your perceptions in any way whatsoever. Buzzillions is interested in hearing your honest and candid feedback, and I don’t want to spoil that for them. I want to hear what you think of this new site, and in exchange, two Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a $25 cash payment payable to their PayPal account!

So how can you enter? Simply visit Buzzillions.com, take a look around, and do a few product searches. After you’ve formed your opinion on the site, come back here and leave me a comment detailing your thoughts, including your likes, dislikes, and any suggestions for improvement. How’s that for easy?

    Wow..this site has tons of stuff. All the things I was looking for were found at several major retailers so I would have to disagree with Rita.

    The navigation is friendly, the ratings are always helpful, and I loved that you could print the page easily. I also like the way the categories are set up and the “green” and “new” ones stood out immediately!

    Looks like a great site!

    I liked that there’s a little description of what the reviewer is like, it helps me see if they are kind of in line with me.

    Also, the split into pros, cons, and best uses is really helpful – if you want to read several reviews then it’s easy to scan just that portion if you’re short on time.

    I really wanted to like the review process, but it was really frustrating.

    It was really easy to sign up (yay!), but submitting a review was harder. It should be easier to find how to submit a review on a product – the placement wasn’t intuitive and I wasn’t even sure until I clicked it if I was clicking in the correct place.

    The email verification of the review – why? I already verified my email to sign up for the site, why would I do it again? I did do it again, but the email was dreadfully slow in arriving.

    I really wanted to like the review process, but it was really frustrating.

    I love the pro and con list. I can’t wait for even more products to be added. I searched for a doll house for my daughter for Christmas and didn’t get too much selection, but I know there is a decent selection out there. I am hoping with time it will become even better.
    My one complaint about the site was how long it took to load. I have a decent internet connection and I was waiting for quite some time.

    Suggestion. To cut down on clutter, I would cut out the sample responses that show up on the quick link to a product. Most people are just going to glance for the rating. People comments in the quick link box, is just clutter.

    I will use this site. Needs some more reviewers!

    I was impressed with Buzzillions. I found the site easy to navigate, though a little slow, could be my computer, and was able to read reviews on several items that I already own or are planning on purchasing for Christmas gifts. I will definitely be checking back when I have more on my list.

    I like that there is an overall pros and cons list. I also love that they are quick to respond to your feedback, as I once said that they didn’t have a category for double strollers and now they do. I never received an email after I registered a profile so in order to sign in I had to go back later and re-submit my email. Other than that hiccup, I really enjoy this site.

    The site is easy to navigate and the reviews are easy to read. The pros and cons list is nice. The ‘where to buy’ this is shorter than Amazon but I liked the variety.

    I’ll be honest and admit I wasn’t expecting much but after visiting I was really impressed. It’s very easy to navigate, I had an easy time finding what I was interested in and I think I found something that I want to buy now. There were a few things I looked at that I wished had more reviews but I’m sure that will change with time.

    I like this site. I like that the ‘buyers’ are verified as real actual buyers and you know they are not being paid to say these things. I also like that you can categorize the reviews to find one from someone similar as you, like from a sahm or a grandma.
