Mommyishome, I’m pretty sure they’re for half-pound bags because one said 8-oz. when I added it to my cart. (I think it was the Irish Cream variety.)

Patti, you can reach Gevalia’s customer service at 1-800-GEVALIA. Other people have commented that they’ve received theirs recently, so you’ll probably be getting it any day now.

I might try this one : ) I don’t drink coffee but my husband does.

We tried the Gevalia’s. He liked the French Vanilla, my parents opened the dark roast when they came and loved it. I also got some tea from there.

Patti the shipping for Gevalia’s was really quick for us. I would call if you haven’t received it to be sure you don’t get shipped the second order (I think it was six weeks after the first? Maybe 4? That they were going to ship the second set)

I signed up too. The Gevalia has tracking info if you register. I signed up for that 3/27, but have not received it yet, but the tracking info is in there.

My experience with Boca Java is that they’re a scam! They sent me the trial package, but when I cancelled my membership, they sent me another full shipment for $34.81, and they’re insisting I pay for it, even though they acknowledge my request for cancellation! Beware all! They told me that cancellation can only be done over the phone for “security reasons,” although that’s not specified in their Terms and Conditions. Five phone calls and two letters later, I’m still fighting with them.

Hmm, I wouldn’t go so far as to say they’re a scam because you do receive the product as stated. However, it seems they’re not adhering to the terms and conditions in your case for some reason.

It clearly states here that “You may cancel by logging into your account at http://www.bocajava.com or by calling 1-888-BOCA JAVA.”

    https://www.bocajava.com/getPage.do?page=GENERICNoObligationTermsPage

I would always recommend canceling by phone to avoid any crossed shipments, but it really shouldn’t matter when they clearly state you can cancel online. Let us know how it turns out, Terri!

I just called Boca Java to see how many ounces is each bag of coffee and it is 8 ounces each bag.

I wanted to let folks know about the email I got about a week ago from Gevalia. They rejected my request for the recent deal offering the coffee maker, travel mug, caraf & coffee for $10. I’m sure many of us wanted in on this deal. I was wondering why it was taking so long for my order to come-they informed me this offer had been sent to a select few and they had learned it was being offered on various websites without their authorization. I don’t think I want to fool with this company-this deal had been featured on several savings blogs.

Debbie, that’s why I didn’t post that offer. It wasn’t posted through legitimate means, and I’m very careful to check out the deals I post the best that I can.

I too had to pay for coffee from Boca Java even though I wrote and emailed them to cancel membership. They said you CANNOT cancel by email it must be done by phone. I returned the shipment that came but was refunded only $2.97 of the $35.94 charged because they have a cancellation fee of $25.00 plus shipping and handling. Ended up paying $33.00 for absolutely nothing.

Berna, I don’t think you can cancel via email. You have to cancel through your account on their site.

Good night, Happy April Fool’s Day!!!

A police officer attempts to stop a car for speeding and the guy gradually increases his speed until he’s topping 100 mph. He eventually realizes he can’t escape and finally pulls over.
The cop approaches the car and says, “It’s been a long day and my tour is almost over, so if you can give me a good excuse for your behavior, I’ll let you go.”
The guy thinks for a few seconds and then says, “My wife ran away with a cop about a week ago. I thought you might be that officer trying to give her back!”

    Happy April Fool’s Day!
