Tara, Stop with the macademia already. Haven’t you done enough damage yesterday?:) I live in NJ. The 2 closest are in Philadelphia, Pa. I like ice cream, but not that much. Thanks anyway. I hope you know I am only having fun with you?

Aww, I’m sorry – but I do love Macadamia nuts too. Ooh, get this . . . I had Macadamia Nut Hershey Kisses at South by Southwest. They don’t sell them on the mainland here, but they are divine!

Keep it up, girl. If you ever get them on the mainland, you’d better send me some. They are my favorite nut, also. I wrote you in the other comment about my husband and those chocolate covered macademias. I can’t keep anything for myself. Have you tried the macademia nuts from Walgreens in a blue bag? They are greasy, for some reason, but still not bad. I like almond, too. I do buy the Hershey Kisses with almonds-not macademia nut:). Keep your nuts in the refrigerator after you open them. Here’s another good one for you: True North pistachio, almond, walnut, and pecans-very good. Have you tried them yet?

LOL! No, I haven’t tried those. I try not to bring them in the house because my husband is the same way. He’ll sit down and finish them in one sitting.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
