A couple of weeks ago, I received an email asking if I was interested in checking out the new Beauty Brands store that was opening at Easton. It sounded like a fun afternoon, so I figured, why not?!
I wasn’t familiar with Beauty Brands (turns out they’re mostly located out west), so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I figured it would be similar to ULTA or Sephora, and as it turns out, they are similar, but Beauty Brands is much more. In addition to selling high-end makeup and hair care lines, they also house a full service salon and spa that offers cuts, colors, blowouts, facials, lash extensions, body treatments and much, much more.
I was treated to a complimentary blowout during my visit. As many of you know, I usually air dry my hair — so I was a little nervous about whether I was going to be happy with the results. But it turns out that I loved it!
I chose “The Breeze”, which is described as sexy, soft Brigitte Bardot waves for a cosmopolitan-meets-beachy look, and that’s exactly what I got. The stylist listened to my concerns before starting: I don’t like a lot of product in my hair, but it does have a tendency to frizz, and it’s especially coarse at the crown. She really did a fantastic job, and I left wanting to take her home with me so I can have shiny, bouncy hair like this every day!
Alas, that wasn’t an option, but I did take home some fun new products to try. I haven’t made my way through all of them yet, but so far, I’m really loving the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. The AHAs are really effective, so I recommend following the directions to a T and starting slow to let your skin adjust to it.
Even if you don’t have a Beauty Brands store in your area, I highly recommend checking them out online. Right now they’re offering a $3.50 off $10 purchase coupon (valid in stores & online), so it’s a great way to try their products and services!
Disclosure: I received a complimentary blowout and free products for attending the Beauty Brands grand opening; however, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support this site!

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything.
However think about if you added some great visuals or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this website could definitely be one of the greatest in its field.
Awesome blog!
