Back-to-School Giveaway: Smooshies Plush Toys

Aren’t these fuzzy little guys just about the cutest thing ever? Smooshies are basically a fuzzy pillow with velcro arms, legs, features, hair, etc. that allow your child to express their creativity. You can find extra parts to increase the combinations at Michael’s and Joann Fabric’s.

I don’t know which of my kids was more enthralled with the Smooshie. My youngest just loves to snuggle and cuddle with it. But he’s also enjoying ripping off random body parts and waving them around with delight. Note: Smooshies are intended for kids ages 3 and older, but I let me little guy give it a whirl while closely supervised.

The older kids got a little creative and got a kick out of seeing what “kooky creation” they could come up with by putting body parts in unusual places. I didn’t anticipate my oldest showing much interest, but even he surprised me and decided to get in on the fun.

    Of course mine was the beloved Cabbage Patch kids I had. I still have them, well actually, my 7 year old still has them. Plus she has some more. (just a little jealous! LOL)

    What a fun giveaway! My favorite toy as a child was my My Drowsy Doll … she is in every photo from my early childhood. Mattel re-realeased the old dolls a few years ago, so I bought one (before I even had kids) and saved her for my daughter (who I was only wishing for at that time, lol) who is now 2. She loves her Drowsy doll…but they are in no way attached like I was to mine…guess you just can’t force love ;)

    My favorite toy as a child was a small stuffed dog (I think it was a Pound Puppy) and you could push his brow down and pull his mouth up to show his teeth and make him look mad or you could do the opposite and make him look happy.

    I loved cabbage patch kids, my little pony and a glo-worm. My kids are boys so they dont have any of these, and i dont have them any more either!

    I used to have a stuffed bear who held a baby bear in her arms. I have no clue whatever happed to that thing. I’m going to have to check the next time I’m at my parents house! My kiddo would love to have one of those Smooshie things. He’d delight in ripping off its arms & legs!

    My favorite toy was my rainbow bright doll.. I don’t have any girls so I passed her along to my 3 year old niece who just loves her as much as I did. My boys would love to have a smooshie!

    How cute! Great for my 3 1/2 old.
    I had so many favorites as a child it is so hard to pick. I would have to say the sand box overall becuase of its versatility!

    I used to have a doll called Joey. My dad ran over it with the lawnmover, so I don’t have it anymore. But my parents said I loved it! I want to get my son a doll, but not sure which one. ;)

    My favorite toy as a little girl was my stuffed raccoon “Rocky”. Now it’s my little girl’s turn to tote around Rocky!

    Never heard of these before but they look so fun!!

    My favorite toys was anything Crayola. I loved to draw , color , paint anything and anywhere I could!!!

    My favorite toy was a Cabbage Patch Doll that my grandma sewed. I cut off all it’s hair when I was really young, so it’s really scary looking!
