Tune in all week for hot Back-To-School Giveaways. We’ve got some great prizes for the kids, with a couple of special prizes to pamper mom!!! Look for a new 48-hour giveaway each morning and each afternoon, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!
There’s no doubt that being a mom is a hard job – the hardest job there is! And while the rewards are absolutely worth it, I’ve teamed up with Jamie from Circle of Sentiments to offer you something a little more tangible this week!
Isn’t this necklace that she created for me gorgeous? I opted to go with the first initials for all of my kids since some of the longer names wouldn’t fit on the small size discs that I selected. I was a little skeptical of how the finished product would turn out with so many discs, but I absolutely LOVE it.
I’m so impressed with the quality and craftmanship, and when I wore my necklace to Blogher, and I received dozens of compliments on it while I was there. It’s quickly become one of my favorite accessories, and I always wear it when I travel as a reminder of my kiddos.
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a custom necklace with up to two discs from Jamie’s Signature Collection, valued at $65!
To enter, simply leave a comment and tell me about your most rewarding moment as a mother.
Jamie is also offering Deal Seeking Mom readers 20% off their Circle of Sentiments’ orders using coupon code dsm at checkout. Be sure to check out all of her beautiful collections to take advantage of this offer!

So hard to choose but, I am very proud of my sons honesty. I see alot of kids his age telling little white lies and I have to admit I don’t get it and hope he doesn’t have that stage.

I like hearing that my son is doing the right thing even when I’m not around.
Thank you!

I have two sons so it is hard to think of just one rewarding moment but the first thing that comes to mind is my 5 year old son tells me that I am his best friend and he says “you’re my heart Mom”. He’s still at the age where he cuddles with me and it makes me feel so special to him. My 7 year old makes me proud too and he hit his first homerun last year which was such a rewarding moment.

I love how excited my two little ones get when Daddy comes home from work (they don’t get excited over me, probably because ima SAHM and I’m never away). I just love watching the three of them wrestle around on the floor and hearing my 1 year old cackling with laughter :)

My heart absolutely melts when my daughter hugs me as tight as she can and says “I love you to the moon and back” then kisses my cheek. There is absolutely nothing better!!!

What makes the day for me is my two year old wanting to hold and kiss his 6 month old brother all day. To see the love they already have for one another makes me feel like I gave them an awesome gift. Each Other!

The best part is when out of the blue my kids will say “I love you mom” and then walk away. There is nothing better than that.

The way my kids play with each other…I love knowing that they love each other so much!
Malinda
It’s a small thing, but I’m always proud when my kids say thank you (to me or to others) without being prompted.

My kids are only 3 and 7 months, so I cherish the little moments where I can tell they love me, like when my son leans over and puts his head on my lap, or my daughter recognizes me and her face lights up.

the most rewarding this for me, especially when i am feeling exhausted and frustrated with my 1 and 2 year old boys, is when they give me a hug and a kiss and tell me they love me (the two year old does, at least).

Today was my oldest’s first day of kindergarten—I’ve been a wreck all day! I miss him! But, I’ve got a 3 year old and 1 year old at home :o)

Every single day is filled with rewards big or small. I love seeing his face light up when he is happy. I love cuddling him when he is sad. I had two miscarriages before him and one after. I feel so blessed just to have him!

My oldest of 4 is also my only son and he’s 13. And I feel so honored that he will still hug me and tell me he loves me in front of his friends!
