Back-to-School Giveaway: Custom Circle of Sentiments Necklace

August 19, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

Circle of Sentiments Initial Necklace

Tune in all week for hot Back-To-School Giveaways. We’ve got some great prizes for the kids, with a couple of special prizes to pamper mom!!! Look for a new 48-hour giveaway each morning and each afternoon, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!

There’s no doubt that being a mom is a hard job – the hardest job there is! And while the rewards are absolutely worth it, I’ve teamed up with Jamie from Circle of Sentiments to offer you something a little more tangible this week!

Isn’t this necklace that she created for me gorgeous? I opted to go with the first initials for all of my kids since some of the longer names wouldn’t fit on the small size discs that I selected. I was a little skeptical of how the finished product would turn out with so many discs, but I absolutely LOVE it.

I’m so impressed with the quality and craftmanship, and when I wore my necklace to Blogher, and I received dozens of compliments on it while I was there. It’s quickly become one of my favorite accessories, and I always wear it when I travel as a reminder of my kiddos.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a custom necklace with up to two discs from Jamie’s Signature Collection, valued at $65!

To enter, simply leave a comment and tell me about your most rewarding moment as a mother.

Jamie is also offering Deal Seeking Mom readers 20% off their Circle of Sentiments’ orders using coupon code dsm at checkout. Be sure to check out all of her beautiful collections to take advantage of this offer!

Most rewarding moment as a mother when my son, who was about 3 years old at the time, got a splinter in his finger. I was able to get it out. The next morning when we were coming downstairs for breakfast and he was holding onto the stair railing he must have remembered the splinter and he looked up at me and said “THANK YOU MOMMY!” Too sweet!

A small thing that is so rewarding is when my daughter hugs me, tells me she loves me, or truly thanks me for something. It is great!

I love when my son unprompted says he loves me, gives me a hug or a kiss. I also love his innocent smiles and the squel he makes when he gets excited.

There are so many memorable moments for me but one that stands out is when my son was 3 we were standing in the back yard and he said to me….”Mom your my most beautifulllllllllly woman.”

My most rewarding moment is one that happens often. It’s when one of my kids hugs me and tells me how much they love me. There’s nothing better than that! :)

One of the most rewarding moments as a mother is when my little girl Hailey came home from the NICU 5 weeks after her birth. This is one of many many rewarding moments.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
