    I treasure the wonderful ways my 3 children pronounce certain words in their own SPECIAL way! Eventually they will grown up and figure out the RIGHT way to pronounce them. lol When my children are all grown up and move on, I want to be able to play back those special words & actions.

    …OH, how I could have used the Flip MinoHD camcorder this past weekend at a lake with 2 families that are our best friends.
    We now live in Cincinnati and they live in WI. We may only be able to get together 1-2x a year, and to capture the 7 kids (age 5-11) (and the adults!!)would be GREAT!!…Like when Megan got 2 toads thrown on her and it FREAKED her out, like when Rob had to have the boat towed back by another boat because it stalled and wouldn’t start, like when Jim repeatedly capsized the small sail boat because he thought he knew what he was doing! Sweet little Reed casting out that fishing pole over and over again ….with a fake fish on the end, and was happy and as proud as could be!! All the kids huddled around a firepit at night making smores, laughing, and having a good ole time!!!

    I would record my three sons – their playtime together, times together with family and friends, their activities, etc.

    We’re starting a family tradition where every evening we each tell each other, in a sentence, what was the most memorable part of the day. It’s only a few seconds, but it always makes us feel closer to each other and brings back memories of special moments. I would use it to record these memories, maybe once a week, and compile them to make a short video that we can all share before the new year…a nice reminder of family moments over the past year.
