I have two young boys. There is always something they are doing that I wish I could record to remember the moment. Plus, my family lives in Texas, so it would be nice to be able to record and send the footage to them so they don’t miss out on anything.

I would LOVE to win this camera because I have missed out on taking pictures of my son for the last 4 years – basically his whole life! I took as many pictures as I could while he was a baby, using a 2.0 megapixel camera that I had gotten in 2003 for my birthday. In 2005 the camera was “old” and it stopped working like it did when it was new. Then I realized that compared to other pictures, my camera quality was no good… But I took pictures anyway. Then the camera came to decide that it would only work when it felt like it so I stopped taking pictures because I couldn’t. Unfortunately my computer, which had all of my baby’s pictures, came down with a virus and those pictures are all lost. I’d give anything to get them back because I want to keep memories of my only child… I learned to let go of the feeling when I realized that his memories will always be in my heart whether I have a hard copy or not. But, one of my greatest wishes is to be able to document his life now that he’s embarking on preschool. I have to choose between a gadget or covering necessities so the reason I haven’t bought one is obvious but if I could win one, I’d be just about the most grateful AND happiest girl around!

We managed to save up enough money to spend Labor Day Weekend at Disney even after my husband lost his job (he has a new one now). I would love to record the musical fountain at the center of Future World in Epcot. I want to make it into a screen saver for my computer so I will always have a little piece of Disney. :)
