All About ALL YOU Magazine

September 28, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski 80 Comments

Just what is ALL YOU magazine you ask?

ALL YOU magazine is a magazine targeted at “value-conscious American women,” and I think that probably sums up my readers pretty well (along with a few value-conscious dads too, of course)!

Now, you know that I’m not one to advocate actually spending your hard-earned money on a magazine subscription, but I think this one warrants an exception. Consistently month after month it’s chock full of great coupons that you won’t find anywhere else. Better yet, often there’s at least one coupon that’s for a free item. Check out the list of coupons in the ALL YOU October issue thanks to Courtney at Homemaker Hero

Where do I purchase ALL YOU magazine?

ALL YOU magazine can only be purchased at Walmart ($2.24 per issue) or through a subscription ($21.24 per year). However, readers have commented in the past that if you can find someone selling it as part of a fundraiser you can subscribe for as little as $20 for two years! The best deal I’ve found lately is going through Live Search to receive a 25% rebate when you purchase it from Magazines.com, making it only $14.99 a year.

Update: Now you can get ALL YOU right here on Deal Seeking Mom for just $13.70 for a 1-year subscription!!!

Are you an ALL YOU Reality Checker?

ALL YOU is looking for for readers just like you to weigh in on a variety of topics. Just register to be an ALL YOU Reality Checker!

Benefits include:

  • See your words and ideas featured in the magazine or website
  • Appear on the pages of the magazine or website
  • Test new products for free
  • Be part of a beauty and lifestyle makeover
  • Attend special ALL YOU events and parties

They just sent me a cool, new mascara a couple of weeks ago to test and give feedback!

Rumor has it that the Elevenmoms will be meeting with the editor of ALL YOU next week while we’re in Bentonville! If you have any feedback that you’d like me to share, leave me a comment or send me an email.

Thanks – I’ve been holding out on the All You subscription. I guess I’m so frugal I was waiting to “win it” on a blog but am not the “lucky winner” type I guess. ha ha. I figure 19.97 with a 4.99 cashback is as good as it gets so I’m officially a subscriber now which is good b/c Walmart is usually where I shop. Thanks for your Walmart deals posts b/c that’s usually where I check first. I’m dying to know the area you are covering b/c I’m in Phoenix and some of the really good deals are never at my Walmart – go figure. Ok sorry for the long comment but thanks! Also I’m going to try to get adventurous and try to do a CVS or Walgreens deal soon (it sort of overwhelms me right now!!)

I picked up a copy tonight, but the price has gone up – it is now $2.24 (after discount) at Walmart – even more reason to subscribe!

Ooh, good to know. I’ll update my post to reflect the new price. Thanks, Michelle!

Terri, my Walmart deals come from all over. I’m in central Ohio, so I post deals from my area, but I also post deals that I find on message boards and the like. It’s a difficult store to cover since they price regionally and there are no store ads. My hope is that there should be something for everyone, and generally the prices are close, but I know that sometimes they may vary quite a bit.

I paid $1.79 for Sept and just subscibed for $10 through my son’s fundraiser. I guess I got a good deal.

Go to “qsp . com”, this will take you to a subscription site where you can choose who benefits from your subscription and you can get the 18 issues for $24. About $1.33 an issue and you can choose which organization to support, not to shabby.

Hello! I just came across your blog by referral. I also enjoy All You magazine and I’m so excited to see your endorsement!

I am an independent consultant with Southern Living at HOME and we offer ALL YOU at the rate of $19.95 for TWO years!

Even better, I am currently hosting a fundraiser for the Komen Race for the Cure and I am donating $5 from every subscription sold through this fundraiser to this worthy cause! So you are not only getting a GREAT deal but you are also supporting our fight! This fundraiser is running through the month of October.

To sweeten the pot, I will do a drawing from all orders received referencing this offer and one lucky person will receive the subscription for FREE!!!

Please contact me for more information on how to place your order online – [email protected] – reference ALL YOU Deal Seeking Mom in the subject line.

    Excited!

My son has the fundraiser through his school. If I sign up for the two-year subscription, it is only $20 plus I get a free gym bag. The bonus is that it helps his school and church.

Thanks, Amy. It usually takes 6-8 weeks to start receiving a magazine after your payment posts. While this is the standard, depending on when you purchased and where ALL YOU is in their label printing process, it can take up to 3 months to receive your first issue. If you check my new ALL YOU ordering FAQs, you’ll find instructions for tracking your subscription.

There aren’t any Walmarts around NYC, but I love the look of the magazine… So I got a subscription today. How do I get the upcoming issue(s), August, etc., until my subscription starts?

Hi! I Absolutely love “All You” so I subscribed to it thru your website about two months ago. I am still not receiving it and have not gotten any confirmation that it is coming. Can you help me?

I also love “Deal Seeking Mom” and all the work you put into it, and I thank you for a great newsletter.

Donna, the ALL YOU website shows you should have already received at least one issue. I recommend you contact ALL YOU customer service. I don’t handle the orders after they’re processed and sent on. You can find instructions for how to look up your subcription on ALL YOU’s site on the FAQs page, and you should be able to contact customer service directly from there. Make sure you ask them to credit you for the issues you didn’t receive, and that will extend your subscription a little longer to make up for it.

So are the coupons/deals only good at WalMart or can they be used at any store?
