Snaptotes: Fantastic Mother’s Day Gift

April 16, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 20 Comments

I just had to share this with you all because I think it’s the cutest thing ever, but then again, maybe I’m a tad biased.

Snaptotes Purse

I stumbled across the Snaptotes website a few days ago – it allows you to upload any photo of your choosing and they’ll print it on the handbag (or wallet and more) of your selection.

Isn’t it adorable?

Of course the hardest part was getting all five kids to sit still and close together so I could get a decent photograph. But uploading it to the Snaptotes website and placing it on the bag was super easy. You just zoom and nudge until it’s right where you want it, and then you save it.

This would make a fabulous Mother’s Day gift (hint, hint to any dads that might be reading), but you have to order by April 30th in order to receive it in time! And here’s a little incentive . . . Snaptotes is graciously offering my readers an exclusive 10% off code when you enter SEEK10 during checkout.

So what do you think, ladies – yay or nay???

Thanks for sharing this pic of your beautiful kids, Tara! I am amazed at how you do all that you do while raising 5! I’d love a post about that sometime. =)

Those are cute bags. I have ordered from another website for picture bags…..www.RyanThomasDesigns.com They have great picture bags that you can customize a little more. Pick differnet fabrics and such.

Joan… This is waht she does for a living, she does not need you trying to steal business over to another site. She is promoating snaptotes and they are kind enought to give her readers a discount. Why would you post another picture bag site???

Sorry, I was just giving my opinion. I thought this was mothers sharing with other mothers great finds. Again, I apologize. My intention was not steal business from her, it was just to share my personal experience with other readers.

Thanks for your support, Melissa. But really, it’s okay, Joan. I understand you weren’t trying to promote another site, and it wouldn’t matter anyhow. They’re not paying me to promote them, and I’m not making any money off of anything my readers might buy with the code. It was simply a nice gesture on the part of the company to allow me to try out one of their bags and offer my readers a discount on their products. I’ll share a photo of the bag when I receive it and let you all know about the quality, but I wanted to post the code ASAP in case I didn’t get it before the deadline to order for Mother’s Day.

Well, those are entirely out of my price range. Too bad, because they are cute.

I agree that some are pretty pricey, but make sure you check out the $75 and under list. The coin purse is pretty cute and would be a great way to showcase a cute photo of your kids – $27 after the discount isn’t too bad!

Those bags are SUPER CUTE! But they are soooo pricey! The whole point is to show them off..so you should get a 1/2 devent size bag…but they are so much $$ …I think I am going to search online for other companies that may do it cheaper :-)
thanks though…and your kids are adorable!

I think the bags are awesome! My mother (grandma) would go nuts over it. Especially in Florida with all the old folks. Can’t show off the grandkids enough. It is pricey, buy hey isn’t that why we bust our butts saving money so we can afford little luxuries every now and then?

I also have difficulty getting my four little kids in one shot so that’s the biggest challenge for me.

They are pricey but this is done in a mall near me and these prices are very tiny compared to those. I think I just found my mom’s new Mother’s day gift..thank you SO much Tara! The discount is very helpful.

Problem solved ladies :) I decided to check out the other website suggested (www.RyanThomasDesigns.com) to see their selection of bags but they don’t even sell picture bags online anymore.

What a fantastic idea! Please let us know what you think of yours! I do think they are pricey but I am used to buying 8$ clearance purses from khols and then trying to figure out why the heck I did that! -It can’t be used as a diaper bag! :D If they are great quality then I don’t think they are too much.

My oldest is second from the left, and he’s 7. To the right of him is my 6 year old. The baby is 15 months. My 4-year-old daughter is on the far right, and my almost 3-year-old daughter is first on the left.

Your children are beautiful! I have 4 (ranging from 7yrs down to 1) and can’t get them to look at the camera at the same time. What’s your secret?

Oh my goodness — I wish I had one, Gina. I had quite an ordeal trying to get that photo, and as you can see, the one I had to settle on has Jace’s big foot in the foreground, LOL.

The best advice I can offer you is to have your husband standing behind you to try and attract their attention so that you can keep them in focus and just take shot after shot. We always rely on the old standby of telling them to say funny things like, “Say ‘stinky cheese’ everyone!”
