Pinecone Research New Application Process

September 14, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 16 Comments

The Pinecone Research application is open again right now! And you may notice the registration process looks a little different.

Pinecone has recently updated the process by asking you a short series of questions up front so that they may direct you to the form that best fits your demographic. This is good news because it means they can categorize the registration applications to process them more efficiently.

Pinecone pays in a timely manner at a rate of $3 per survey via check or Paypal, and they often have product tests that go along with the surveys, so they’re definitely one of the best survey companies to get on board with.

PLEASE NOTE: If you’ve applied to Pinecone recently, do not fill out the application form again. I’ve been working closely with them, and they let me know that this creates more work for them as they process the applications when they have to weed out multiple registrations.

Other paid survey companies of interest:

  • Synovate Global Opinion Research
  • Toluna Survey Panel
  • Mindfield Internet Panels

I got in on this over the summer when they were taking applicants. So far I’ve made about $20 and got to test 2 products. Not bad.

A 36 year old white, single female doesn’t qualify either. They must have a specific group they are soliciting.

I have recently joined Pinecone and done a couple of their polls. They do pay VERY quickly. Has anyone ever heard of Zobgy International? I got an email from them about doing a survey, but I don’t think its anything that I asked for….anyone know anything about them?

Whoops, sorry about that, I spelled it wrong…it’s Zogby International, and they asked me to do an ‘interactive survey’?

I have been doing Pinecone for about 3 months, and make about $12 -$15/mo. It’s not much, but it buys me lunch a couple of times a month! They do pay very quickly…in about 1-2 weeks max. Very nice company.
