Rite Aid: Olay Regenerist Money Maker, 5/25 Only!

May 25, 2010 by Corrie @ Centsable Momma 22 Comments

If you’re heading to Rite Aid today, be sure to take advantage of this Olay moneymaker. Today’s the last day it’s available, though, so keep that in mind!

There is a new $12 rebate available to sweeten the deal further. When you purchase $30 in specified P&G products (Olay is included), you can get either a FREE magazine or a $12 rebate. Shannon from For the Mommas confirmed that you can submit a photocopy of your receipt (since you’ll need the original for the $20 Olay rebate).

Here’s how it works:

Buy (2) Olay Microsculpting Serum and Cream (1.7 oz.), 2/$44 (ends 5/25)
Buy (1) Olay Moisturizer, $6.99

Use $5/$25 Rite Aid Purchase printable (regional)
Use $1/$10 Skin Care Purchase RA Wellness printable
Use (2) $5/1 Olay Regenerist Facial Moisturizer or Cleanser (P&G MIR Booklet) OR
Use (2) $3/1 Olay Regenerist Facial Moisturizer, exp. 6-30-10 (SS 05/16/10)
Use $1/1 Olay Facial Moisturizer or Cleanser, exp. 6-30-10 (SS 05/16/10)
Get $20 SCR #73
Get $30 in P&G coupons wyb $30 in select P&G products SCR #4
Get $20/$50 Olay MIR
Get $12/$50 P&G Magazine Redemption Rebate
As much as an $18 money maker + $30 in P&G coupons after coupons, SCRs and MIRs!

You must purchase both the serum and the cream in the same transaction in order to get the sale price, so you can’t break it out into multiple transactions to use multiple $5/$25 Rite Aid Purchase printable coupons.

This is a great way to try these products and earn some cash in the process!

You have to submit the receipt for the Olay MIR & also the Magazine Refund. They both request original receipt. So I guess you can only do one?

Hey Kim! As mentioned in the post, Shannon from For the Mommas called, and they said that a copy of the receipt would be fine for the magazine refund.

    Hope that helps!

You can breakup the transaction, you just have to use your wellness+ card. I did this on 5/23 and used $5 and $1 wellness on each transaction. Scan your card first to see the sale price.

By the way, it was ringing up $22 individually… so you could ring it up under 2 transactions, I believe. Any $5/20 Rite Aid coupons floating around out there? I’d use it with the $5/25 Rite Aid coupon.

I too was able to ring them up separately and got the $22 price on each so it was not required to do it all in one purchase

You absolutely can get the $22 sale price if you purchase them in two different transactions. I did this on Sunday.

I just tried this transaction and both items rang up as 29.99. I did this in one transaction and I did scan my wellness+ card, but I did not have them scan my card until the end of the transaction. Does when the card is scanned make a difference or is this deal just regional?

To make more money off of this deal, I’m going to sell the products on Ebay. I’ve been able to make quite a bit doing this with products that I don’t use, but can get free or nearly free!

yes this is a regional sale. here in colorado they are full price also. I was sooo bummed. But, even with the $29.99 price I got them free (only paid $4.40 tax for both)
      Did separate transactions
      $29.99 each
less $5 P&G coupon from booklet
      less $5/20 riteaid cpn
      $19.99 + tax each
then submit for $20 riteaid rebate and $20 Olay rabate= free!

For the RA rebate rebate you have to buy both of them. For the Olay rebate you can buy either.

They do not have to be on the same receipt. You just need to enter in both receipts on riteaid.com to get your $20 SCR and then include both receipts in the envelope for the Olay rebate. Also, you need to photocopy both for the $12 magazine rebate. I did 2 transactions, got the $22 price on both . . . also got a $7.99 regen cleanser to put me over $50. That rung up $7.19 with my wellness card. I had a $10 RA giftcard from a previous promotion, so I only paid just under $20 OOP after tax and will get $52 back. Woo-hoo!!!! Oh yeah, I used a $5/$20 RA Adperks coupon and a $5/$25 coupon from redplum.com [search for rite aid and it should come up].

If you buy them in 2 seperate transactions does that still qualify for the RA rebate? or do they need to be purchased on the same reg receipt?

I did the deal last night and did it in one transaction.. but I was able to use both a $5/20 & a $5/25 q along with 3- $5. from the P&G Year of Savings booklet (there are definitely 3 in one booklet) and 2 additional $1/10 skincare wellness coupons too.. (the third one didnt qualify for it)
I was told by a CS rep that I could use multiple $5/20 or $5/25 coupons if my total before coupons added up to the amount it takes to qualify on one order, that I didnt need to break it into two different orders to use them.
Since the first time I did it, I’ve had no problems with doing this.

I went to three stores and all creams no serums! But the yellow sale tag said OR not AND. I am going to keep my fingers crossed.

Christina, if I’m not mistaken, the only way you will qualify for the $20 SCR is if you buy one of each….you will get the sale price either way. My store was out of the cream, but I took a chance (since I’m there fairly often), I actually “bought” the item without it being there, and they wrote a raincheck for a FREE item, that way I had bought the items during the required SCR period to get my rebate, all I have to do is return Friday when they (hopefully) restock. I was able to split my transactions into 2 to use the $5/25 twice. Paid $36 oop, hopefully getting $52 in rebates back (plus a $30 p&g coupon book).

Also, according to my store (and they gave me a paper), if for some reason the store is out of an item, and you get a raincheck during a specified rebate period, Rite Aid will honor that raincheck as a purchased item, and it will qualify for an SCR (you would not be able to do the SCR online, though; you would either have to fax or mail it in).
