1800-Flowers: Send Someone Special A Smile

July 19, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 14 Comments

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of 1-800-Flowers. All opinions are 100% mine.

I LOVE fresh flowers. I can always count on a beautiful bouquet to bring a smile to my face and brighten up our living space.

My husband discovered this early on, so he usually “surprises” me about once a week with a sweet little bouquet from the grocery store (yes, I’m a very lucky girl). But every once in awhile he’ll treat me to something a little more extravagant, like a bouquet from 1800-Flowers.

1800-Flowers recently asked us to give their flower delivery services a try, so I turned the GC they sent over to my kids and hubby to send me a little treat and try out the site. I figure if they can place an order, just about anyone should be able to order from it easily!

My almost 6-year-old daughter was really pushing for the Justin Bieber “One Less Lonely Girl” Bouquet, of course:

But honestly, roses have never been my style. I prefer something a little more unusual and exotic, so my husband gently steered her toward the Summer Rose and Lily Bouquet as a compromise:

It’s absolutely stunning in person, and it truly does make me smile every, single time I walk into the kitchen where I proudly have it displayed!

Send someone you love a smile today with fresh flowers from 1800-Flowers and take 10% off your order when you enter the coupon code SEMDISC10 at checkout! I think I might just surprise my daughter with that Justin Bieber bouquet for her first day of kindergarten…

Just for fun — what’s your favorite kind of flower?

I don’t have a favorite flower, but my mom loves roses!
And that Justin Bieber bouquet cracks me up – I’d love to send one to my brother as a joke =)

i’m not into flowers. i get to “enjoy” them for a few days and then they die. however, after our first child was born, he bought me a vase full of gerbera daisies – HUGE ones! i absolutely LOVE them. i want them planted all over our garden, whenever i get one :o)

This antiperspirant boosts security as it detects higher degrees of
task (so there’s no need to bother with reapplying if the day
obtains crazy), as well as assures to keep on working for 2 Days
right. Guys are additionally attracted to the fragrance.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
