I’m excited to offer another fun 12 Days of Christmas series at Deal Seeking Mom. Each day through 12/7, I’ll post a new 3-day giveaway! Browse all of the giveaways here.

I love kitchen gadgets of all kinds, so I was excited to try out the Shenzhen Ceramic Knives after reading about the many benefits that ceramic knives offer over traditional steel knives:
- Ceramic knives stay sharper longer. They’re harder than steel and will hold their edge longer.
- They will not rust and and are easy to clean.
- Ceramic knives won’t affect the taste of food or cause it to turn brown.
- They’re lightweight, making them easy and comfortable to use.
So what’s my verdict? They certainly are every bit as sharp as their website says. My finger can attest to that, LOL. The only drawback I can see? Because ceramic knives are very delicate, they can’t be used for more aggressive chopping and deboning, so you will still need to have several steel knives on hand for these tasks.
The good news is that Shenzhen Ceramic Knives are a fantastic price for the quality compared to many other highly recommended ceramic knives. So if you’re looking for a good set of ceramic knives at a bargain price, this set fits the bill!

Four Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a 3-piece Shenzhen knife set (chef’s knife, slicing knife and paring knife) and peeler.
To enter, tell me how often you sharpen your knives. Do you just buy them and that’s it, or do you bring them in to get sharpened on a yearly basis?
Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two or three, for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

We normally just sharpen our knives ourselves, but two years ago we splurged on nicer knives, so we send those to the manufacturer to be professionally sharpened.

Bought a set of CutCo knives years ago when I tried selling them for about a month. Love the knives – hate the price. I only have ever sharpened the pairing knife but don’t have the cutco sharpener so it doesn’t stay sharp long. Should really send my serrated knives in for a sharpening…

I never sharpen my knives but I swear every time my husband gets one out he sharpens it – like it’s a requirement to sharpen before use!

I NEVER shapen my knives. The sound reminds me of nails/chalkboards. I’ve had some Ginsu ones for about 18 years and they are finally wore out!

My boyfriend sharpens his knives quite often, not every time but I’d probably say about once a week. He found a wet diamond stone sharpener and absolutely loves it!

I sharpen my knives when they start to get dull- 3-4 times a year or so. It also depends on how much I’ve used them & for what! :) I’ve tried ceramic & they are wonderful, but too expensive for my budget. This would be an awesome win!
