Whenever we run out of gift ideas for our four girls to offer the grandparents, my default answer is pretty much “books or something Melissa & Doug”.

When they arrived, my husband and I quickly unpacked the boxes to see for ourselves (the big reveal for the girls will have to wait until Christmas morning!). What I love most is that the sturdy train table offers a place for all four girls to play together, and it can be used not only for the classic wooden train set but also for their doll house, building blocks or as a table for their arts & crafts.

The train set itself offers a ton of possible configurations and is sure to keep them busy for hours, and I have a feeling our 3-year-old will spend most of Christmas Day dressed up as a train engineer!

    My favorite melissa & doug toys are the food toys. I love how they are made from wood to make them sturdy and how the come apart with the velcro. Such a great idea!!

    I have 2 boys, aged 2 yrs and 4 yrs. They LOVE the wooden train set we have at our local Children’s Museum. They love trains, at Thanksgiving dinner, while going around and saying what we are thankful for, my 4 yr old, immediately said “the boxcar trains on 95th street”. They would love to have a set at home to play with, and it is out of our budget to buy. Merry Christmas!

    My son would absolutely LOVE this! He has several Thomas the Train wooden trains he plays with all the time. He also has several wooden puzzles he loves to put together. What an awesome giveaway!!!
