September 12, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski 10 Comments

I promised I’d be back with a money-making scenario for the Walgreens $10 off $40 coupon that’s valid 9/12 and 9/13, and here it is! I used only weekly deals and the newly added free after EasySaver rebate monthly deals to create it because I’m sure that many of you have already completed your free after EasySaver rebate deals for the month.

I’ve used the Robitussin deal this week already, but unfortunately, they have taken off their $3/1 Q from their link. Unless you had already have printed it, I’m pretty sure it’s unavailable now.

    Great deals though!

Oh, bummer! Well, I think that’s easily fixed. It looks like there’s still a $1 coupon on their site, so you could use three of those and take the Easy Living bag off the transaction. You’ll only make a profit of $11.56 that way, but it would still be a great deal!

Just an FYI…you can only use the $10/$40 coupon after all other coupons have been redeemed. Bummer!

Thanks, Carmen. I did mention that, but you’re right, it is a little disappointing. But if you’re creative, you can still make money with it!

I must say I did pretty well on my first trip to Walgreen’s last night. Thanks for the tips. I wouldn’t have tried this if I hadn’t run across your name in the Dispatch.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
