I always miss out!!

2 danica May 18, 2010 at 4:39 pm

Are these located with the other travel items?

3 Jess May 18, 2010 at 4:45 pm

These deals never work for me, because the coupon value is higher than the item costs. The cashier ALWAYS rejects the coupon and then I look stupid. Please stop posting these deals, they never work! :(

4 Tara Kuczykowski May 18, 2010 at 4:56 pm

Jess, I wouldn't post them if they didn't work. I'd encourage you to take a copy of the Target coupon policy with you. It indicates that cashiers should adjust the price of the coupon down to the items.

My target said that they wouldnt take that coupon because it was not intended for the trial size. I told them it doesnt say on there that it excludes trail size. She made a stink and called both managers over, they told me coupons weren't meant to get things for free! I laughed at them! Wouldn't let me use it :*( Wish we had another one closer.

Trish I would have laughed too! I have gotten so much stuff free after coupons! Tara-I love your website and I have gotten so much better at couponing-Thank you! I have had problems at Target with coupons-I have called the manger before-but i have found one or two cashiers who know the coupon policy and adjust them down for me or just push them thru-I go in there so often with your deals that they do not hassle me!

I just deal this deal today and the cashier didn't even have to adjust my coupon. I was waiting to hear it beep, but it didn't! When I looked at my receipt, it looks like the coupon adjusted itself down automatically. (It showed my coupon as $1.99 off)

I've never personally had issues at Target, but I'm hoping maybe they did something with the registers to solve issues like adjusting coupons!

Jess, why would you complain and ask Tara not to post? She is offering us a FREE service to get FREE stuff! It is hardly her fault if the Target cashiers do not know their own policy. I have several Targets in my area and frequent them all. Sometimes I have issues and sometimes I don't. This biggest irritant I have come across is cashiers that act like they are personally giving me something that is theirs. They must not be smart enough to know coupons bring money into their store and they get paid an additional .08 cents per manufactures coupon they accept.

9 Maria May 18, 2010 at 7:28 pm

Ditto. Just to add that: coupons bring money AND costumers into their store so cashiers can keep their jobs even in these hard times!!

I used two of these coupons today and they both worked! The register beeped and she looked at it closely but I told her I'd bought two, I'd dig through the bags to find them if she needed me to. She said no and pushed them on through. I used $24 in coupons which would have made my total pretty low except for the two boxes of diapers I got! At least I got $3 off each. I wasn't sure if they'd both work b/c I only had Little Movers coupons and there was only one box of them. I got a box of Snug and Dry and they took the coupon no problem. Now I kind of want to go exchange the Little Movers box for another Snug and Dry since you get so many more per box! I also need to go back with my card that came in a Target mailer last week for a $5 gift card with a $50 purchase! And Spot's Savings are 50% off, making a lot of things $.50. I got a bunch of stuff to use for stocking stuffers for my kids next year!

Tara- Great find!! I love this lotion, but always hate to pay so much for it! I have 3 computers in my house, making 6 coupons for me! I went tonight and bought 2 just to see if it would go through, and it went through without a problem. I am going back tomorrow to buy 4 more!! Thanks!

12 Mairvette May 21, 2010 at 5:36 pm

Why when I click on the link for "Free after coupon" it takes me to this website
and there is NOTHING for this?!! :) Please help!!

13 Tara Kuczykowski May 21, 2010 at 9:39 pm

I'm sorry, Mairvette. It looks like the coupon is no longer available.

14 paul carroll May 21, 2010 at 8:59 pm

I would like to know why you can't have a search window so we don't have to go through every page.

15 Tara Kuczykowski May 21, 2010 at 9:40 pm

I wish I could, Paul, but I don't own I'm just sharing good coupons that I've found on there. :)

If the items is priced lower than the coupon value, then just buy something really cheap, like a pack of gum and then they have to redeem it. I still save money doing it this way as most manufacturer's coupons get taken off after they total the order and the store gets full face value of the coupon. If you are only buying that item and applying the coupon and there is cash back, then they will not honor the coupon. The stores don't like giving money back. That part I understand, but I can't stand it when a cashier fights you over a manufacturer's coupon! I guess that when they are trained, trainers do not explain that to them?
I work in retail and when I bring in my coupon box, my boss knows I am ready to shop. There are days that I spend less than a dollar and walk away with all kinds of stuff. Clearance section is always a great way to save.

I wasn't able to get the Jergens coupon, though. :0(

I will admit, I was the first initially but soon realized how
much I respect the latter , especially when the shoe is on the other foot.
So I was consumed with craving and, feeling the anticipation a 40-day abstinence would create.
Cupid, arrows, hearts – these are all symbols
associated with Valentine’s Day.
