I've been to 2 McDonalds in the Austin, TX area and the employees have never heard of this booklet. My mom went to a Mcdonalds in LA and they don't have them either. Anyone find them in the Austin area??
WoW! I think we will head over there today! Maybe we will have that Angus Burger for dinner and get our FREE Med. fries & drink, we never eat at McDonalds...but I've heard good reviews about this burger.
Tori...I'm in the Kingwood Tx area and I was told that my store has just not received them yet!!! But they are on the way...The manager said he'd give it a week or two.

Not in Aberdeen, NC either, have not heard of them.
Also, the manager told me these are Halloween books and not back to school...Most stores won't get them in till the end of Sept....Hope that helps!!

I called corporate today and the person I spoke to had no clue. He spoke to his supervisor and he said it is probably a local thing. I am hoping we get it in South Florida but not holding my breath :( Please let me know if anyone in FL finds these.

Yes, if you buy them in one state, you can use them in another. I remember buying them in Maryland two years ago. I bought a dozen or more and used them in FL, VA, SC and NC. I believe the franchise operators get reimbursed by the corporate McDonalds, so I have never had a McDonalds refuse to honor them. I believe they put out these coupons four times a year, but most McDonalds only sell the Halloween ones. If you are lucky enough to find them stock up. They are great money savers.
My girlfriend works at Mc Donald's here in Riverside Ca. and she says these coupon booklet's come out at the end of September every year right before Halloween.
usually they are sold at non franchise mcDonalds and since I don't have any near me I never can get them

I got them two years ago in Aberdeen, Maryland. I am in VA now, there are none to be found here.
I have been to 3 different McDonalds here in a suburb of Dallas also and they too have never heard of them. Can you guys PLEASE post the region that you are finding these deals before I drive all over town looking for them? This has happened on more than one deal I have seen posted on this site.
I've looked all over Houston too--nothing. Maybe we'll get them in late September like everyone is saying. I'm going to use mine as incentives for my 5th graders! If they get all A's, I will draw names to see who gets the coupons! :)

McDonalds in OP IL did not know anything about these coupons.
It seems there's only a handful of stores scattered around the country with these books. If anyone can located these, PLEASE share where - I too have been looking for my students with no luck (and that major auction site is sickening)

I contacted McDonald's they said that 80% are privately owned and it is the owner's decision about any promotions so they cannot tell you where to find the coupon books.
The Joliet Illinois Mc Donalds was giving them away with each Happy meal but I think they are out. As of yesterday, they were GIVING away the Halloween coupon sheets inside each happy meal along with the current toy. This is the one OUTSIDE of the Louis Joliet Mall on Plainfield Road. Enjoy!
Found the books in South Los Angeles at the McDonalds on Normandie and Manchester they are a buck fifty and well worth it I buy 10 at a time
My Mcdonalds sells these year round. For the past 6yrs I’ve boughten them. However they are $5. a book here in Michigan.
It includes 12 coupons. You have a ton of time to use them.. almost a good 2 1/2 years.
They expire 12/31/2013
