Ladies Who Lunch Giveaway: Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bag

by Tara Kuczykowski on December 3, 2008 · 946 comments

Elle Christy Lunch BagIn my post the other day on seven easy ways to cut $1 or more out of your daily budget, I mentioned that packing your lunch on a daily basis is an excellent way to make huge impact on your budget. Brown-bagging it can get old and boring quickly though . . . until now.

Cosmoda sent me this adorable Elle Christy Lunch Bag, and it almost makes me wish I had an office job again just to be able to carry my lunch back and forth in it! I was surprised at how nice the quality is, and you'd totally never even guess it's a lunch bag until you unzip it and see the insulated material inside. Both the interior and exterior wipe clean easily, and did I mention just how gosh darn cute it is?!?

Cosmoda wants to help you save money by packing your lunch and still look chic while doing it, so they've given me three adorable lunch bags to give away to three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers!

Would you like to win one of these fabulous lunch bags? Just leave a comment telling me what your favorite well-rounded lunch is that you'd pack!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what lunch you'd pack in this sweet little lunch bag!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. (Use hashtag #lunchbags, please.) You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 of 3 Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bags (ARV $20-$30)

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sunday, December 7th. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Monday, December 8th. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

I pack my lunch every day, but lately I've noticed my lunchbox isn't looking too good! :) These are SO cute! I'd probably just pack leftovers from dinner the night before in mine. That's usually what I wind up taking. :)

I would pack a sandwich, yogurt, soda, fruit, and carrots. I try to bring my lunch often, but it usually ends up being in a grocery sack.

I pack lunch for my boy. A well rounded lunch would be a silicon cupcake cup of grapes (or some other fruit), another cup of cut carrots or broccoli, a peanut butter/jelly sandwich cut into shape with miniature cookie cutters and possibly a cookie. He hates using utensils so everything has to be finger food.

I pack whatever is left over and about to expire. Not so well rounded, I admit.

My favorite thing to take for lunch is leftover three cheese whole wheat tortellini in pesto sauce--I eat it cold right out of the Tupperware! So tasty... I usually also throw in a cup of yogurt and some cheese cubes, plus a small piece of chocolate for dessert.

I pack my lunch almost every day of the week in our effort to stick to a lean budget so that I can become a SAHM within a year! Yayayayyay! A typical packed lunch for me includes very thinly sliced cucumbers and baby carrots with LF Asian Sesame Dressing as a snack and either a veggie soup or a loaded turkey sandwich and chips for lunch. Also, since I'm such a HUGE snacker at work (one needs only to see my overflowing trash can to know this), I usually bring some microwave popcorn and a diet soda. :) I LOVE the lunch bag, by the way! Hope I win!

Though I'm a SAHM, we go on a lot of picnics in the spring/summer, and even Mom needs a packed lunch sometimes!
I would pack an egg salad sandwich, potato chips, grapes, a bottled water & maybe some cookies to share w/ the kids! ;)

These are very nice...not as cool as my current, rocket ship lunchbox, but in much better condition.
I'd probably pack my standard lunch. Turkey sandwich on multigrain bread, cheese stick and an apple. And that's in addition to morning snack, which is usually a piece of fruit and afternoon snack of carrot sticks and almonds.

I'm at SAHM, but we still pack lunch when we go out sometimes. I would pack a vegetable cheese sandwich, a side salad with pomegranate vinaigrette, yogurt, and an orange.
