Giant Eagle is on the slow side this week, but this is a good time to mention their new Foodperks program*.

Giant Eagle has always offered Fuelperks where you earn discounts on gas by purchasing groceries, but now with Foodperks you can earn in the reverse direction! You can earn a 1% savings on groceries for every 10 gallons of gas you purchase just by scanning your Giant Eagle Advantage card at the pump.

For a limited time watch the video about the Fuelperks program and earn a 5% discount!

*Thanks to Marcy for letting me know that this may not be available in all areas yet. I can't find any information indicating either way, but she says they're planning to roll it out everywhere if the have not already!

Tara - I'm pretty sure that foodperks is only available as a pilot program in Central Ohio right now...unless they have started to roll it out everywhere (they plan to).
Have a great weekend!

Hmm, I didn't see any information noting that, but at the same time, I also don't see the program on Giant Eagle's homepage, so it's hard to tell. I'll edit my post to add that it may not be available in all locations yet.

I participated in a pre-pilot program, and that is the info I was given. They haven't said more though in terms of when and where it'll be rolled out next.
