First Look Kids: Free Kids’ Books!!!

by Tara Kuczykowski on June 15, 2008 · 6 comments

I've been an avid reader since the age of four when I learned to read my first book (and all-time kids' fav), The Little Red Hen. I've always tried to encourage reading with my own kids, and we've amassed quite a collection of books, but there's always room for one more!

So I was super excited when I found out about Harper Collins First Look program for kids. Simply register here, and Harper Collins will notify you by email when they have new books available for review. They have four up for grabs currently. This is the first I've heard of it, so I just registered myself, but I found a lot of positive feedback in my research of it. I'll be sure to post again after we've reviewed a few books to add details on the whole process.

These links show "Page not found" . Is there a new link or did they discontinue the program?

Hmm, this post is a little over a year old. I just checked it out, and I can't find any information on the site about it, so they must have discontinued it. How disappointing! Thanks for pointing it out.

Thanks for checking it out so promptly! I found it on the page about free books. Great ideas! I also use swaptree.com for books, cds and dvds.
