Tune in all week for hot Back-To-School Giveaways. We’ve got some great prizes for the kids, with a couple of special prizes to pamper mom!!! Look for a new 48-hour giveaway each morning and each afternoon, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!
There’s no doubt that being a mom is a hard job – the hardest job there is! And while the rewards are absolutely worth it, I’ve teamed up with Jamie from Circle of Sentiments to offer you something a little more tangible this week!
Isn’t this necklace that she created for me gorgeous? I opted to go with the first initials for all of my kids since some of the longer names wouldn’t fit on the small size discs that I selected. I was a little skeptical of how the finished product would turn out with so many discs, but I absolutely LOVE it.
I’m so impressed with the quality and craftmanship, and when I wore my necklace to Blogher, and I received dozens of compliments on it while I was there. It’s quickly become one of my favorite accessories, and I always wear it when I travel as a reminder of my kiddos.
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a custom necklace with up to two discs from Jamie’s Signature Collection, valued at $65!
To enter, simply leave a comment and tell me about your most rewarding moment as a mother.
Jamie is also offering Deal Seeking Mom readers 20% off their Circle of Sentiments’ orders using coupon code dsm at checkout. Be sure to check out all of her beautiful collections to take advantage of this offer!

my most rewarding moments as a mother are when someone tells me how well behaved and smart my children are. It’s when I say to myself….”Okay, I guess you’re doing a pretty good job!”
Dawn
My favorite mom moments are when my little sons sleep next to each other or crack each other up.

I love seeing all the milestones. I would trade my job as a SAHM for anything.

I am not a Momma, but I am an excellent Aunt Sissy to my neices and nephews. We are always doing some type of craft on rainy days or of an evening before bed during our visits…I m-e-l-t when they give me that “Aunt Sissy – I need your help or could you help me with this?”
My husband and I enjoy our neices and nephews immensly, but when they are wore out and grumpy from our activities WE GET TO SEND THEM HOME to Mommy and Daddy.
What fun!! THANKS for the opportunity to win!

I love being there to kiss away the tears and put bandaids on boo boos. I sure feel like a mom in those moments; a comforter and shoulder to cry on.

I’m a new mom, so I have to say that every moment is more rewarding than the previous! I waited a long time to have a child and it was sooooo worth the wait. My little one is absolutely precious and brings me more joy than I could have ever imagined. Hearing his little 5 month-old giggle is something I will never tire of…that’s probably the MOST rewarding thing so far.

My three year old son has been in speech therapy the past year for a severe speech delay. For his third birthday, we invited friends from Sunday School and family for a big carnival party to celebrate with him. Afterwards, when I was so sore I could barely stand up from all the prep work, he gave me the biggest hug and said “fanks mommy”. It just made me melt. SO worth it.

Feeling those little arms around my neck and “I love you, Mommy,” makes all those messes and stresses melt away…..and reminds me of the things in life that truly matter!

The most rewarding moment for me as a mommy in the last month is hearing my eighteen month old say “I dove oo” her version of “I love you” for the first time! Oh melt my heart! It makes that first year of sleepless nights totally worth it :)

My best reward is getting smooches from my little guys (who, unfortunately, aren’t so little anymore :) ). A kiss from them can brighten any day!

After a trying year with a high school senior, it was rewarding to find a paper from school where he stated that he would be nowhere without his parents who are there for him and have taken such good care of him. Guess we did a few things right!

When I’m feeling down and am certain I’m making all the wrong decisions, my son gives me a hug and tells me I’m the best mom in the whole wide world.
