I am an Amazon Prime trial customer , I just attempted using the promo code FIREMOMS at checkout with the Fire HD, I was unable to get the discount. An error message returned and prompted me to use another code.

I spoke to someone on Amazon.com chat (only because I really hate talking on the phone lol) and they let me sign up for the free Amazon moms trial and purchase the Kindle Fire HD and they applied the discount after the order! and it is legit bcause I just got a text msg from my bank saying $174 was taken out form Amazon… ask and you shall recieve!

I also got the trial membership, tried the code, and it didn’t work. But I used the chat feature and the rep applied the discount to my order. Just FYI, the discount will not work if you have anything else in your cart that isn’t sold directly from Amazon. Thanks so much for the head’s up on this… saved $25!

I just chatted too. She said that the amazon moms takes 24 hours to credit to your account. So those getting errors…it because the system doesn’t realize you are a member yet.
Also learned the promo is only good for one per customer. :(

I also have the trial membership, tried the code, and it didn’t work. I’ve been a member for a couple of weeks, so the issue with the membership registering is not the issue in my case. Not sure how to “chat” with amazon, so I sent an e-mail. Not sure that I will get a reply in time. Very Frustrating!
