Amazon: Barbie Superstar Doll $3

by Tara Kuczykowski on March 9, 2010 · 11 comments

Perhaps you've already heard that Mattel is offering $3 Barbie Dolls in honor of Barbie's 50th birthday, but who wants to chase them down all over town? Luckily, we can find the Superstar Barbie Doll for $3 on Amazon right now.

She ships for free with a $25 purchase, or if you scored one of the free Amazon Prime Trials back in January, you can have her waiting on your doorstep in two days.

I doubt this hot Barbie deal will last long, so order yours now!

Thanks, Good Deal Mama!

If you live in Charleston or North Charelston, SC you can find these dolls at Bi-Lo stores. There are also 2 other ones there with it that you can get for $3. If you have facebook search Heidi Crespo-Wendland and I have posted a pic of all three.

I went to our local Toys R Us and they said they had a line of about 50 people Sunday before they opened so the dolls sold out in seconds. I thought, "Oh well I tried." Just happen to be at a Target yesterday and they had about 30 of them. Was at a different Target today and they also had about 30. The guy working in toys said that people must not realize that they are carrying them because they still have unopened cases of them in the back!

Went yesterday in my local Toys R Us in Northwest WA, they had them!!!
I also had a $3 gift card that came in the mail because my daughters birthday is 2 weeks away, so I got it FREE!! Yay! So fun!

I think they must have sold out of the ones for $3 that were being sold by Amazon. I snagged one up for Toys For Tots this morning. Having Amazon Prime made it so easy and cheap.

This item does not count towards the Amazon Prime 2-day shipping. I just put 2 in my cart for my 2 nieces, and with Amazon Prime I am still paying shipping. I am assuming because this item is not from Amazon but Target on Amazon's website.

It's very exiting to find your dealseekingmom.com blog.
What a cool post! I am just a beginner in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well - resources like this blog are extremely helpful. As our company is based in the US, it's all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own actual enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is beneficial in that case.
