I printed the MaraNatha coupon after the quiz and it is only for $1.00 off any product. 1/5/11.

Mine came out as $2. I got all the questions right. Maybe that has something to do with it? Thanks for the heads up on all these. Definitely going to make a trip down to Whole Foods.

ITS A TRAP!

No, not really. The coupons worked great but the base price that is listed on this article is not correct, at least not for me.

After looking at the deals, I decided to go to Whole Foods and get the following items:

– Nature’s Path Flax Plus Cereal or Toaster Pasteries
– Food Should Taste Good Chips
– So Delicious Coconut Milk
– MaraNatha Nut Butter

According to the total, it should have been about $3.19 without taxes.

It rang up to 18 dollars, and after coupons, it was $10.50

Where were the price differences?

– Nature’s Path Flax Plus Cereal or Toaster Pasteries (Listed at 2.50 per, actual price, 2.59-2.99 )
The wasn’t the problem. It was the .75 cents each when you buy 2 after coupon. So, it is actually about $1.84 each not .75 cents each (((2.49*2)-1.5)/2 = 1.84)
– Food Should Taste Good Chips (Listed at 2, actual price, 2.99)
– So Delicious Coconut Milk (Listed at 2.69, actual price, 3)
– MaraNatha Nut Butter (Listed at 2.50, actual price, 5.99)

The two misleading ones that increased the total price was the Nut Butter and Nature’s Path Flax Cereal/Toaster Pasteries. The 5.99 MaraNatha Nut Butter was the cheapest one. And the fact that the Nature’s Path was about 1.84-2.00 each as oppose to the .75 cents for each item listed hurt the final price.

Not really a complaint cause in the end, I saved $7.50 which was fantastic, but wanted to let other readers know that the prices listed aren’t 100% accurate.

It’s possible that the prices could vary slightly by location. My local store did not have the mangos for $1 last week, as mentioned.

Prices do vary by location. I was in the general area of my nearest Whole Foods and was disappointed to see that the nut butter was 5.99 and the toaster pastries were actually 2/$4 at my store, but that is still 1.25 per box for only 6 pastries. Hadn’t tried this brand, but definitely not a must have item in my household, so I passed. Just thought it would be a treat for my 2 yr old. =)

I was pleased to get the coconut milk for .99 after coupons ( 2.99 reg price here in Memphis). Tastes great to me by itself, 25% fewer calories than 2% milk and I am planning to try in our smoothies.

Another benefit of the trip was that I stacked coupons and used IPs for the first time. Now I know for sure that my store will do that!
