I also picked up the Jillian Michaels Total Body Kit and the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred Kit to get me motivated to start working out regularly.

I already picked up The 30 Day Shred with the hot Amazon deal (that’s still available!) earlier in this month, so I’m ready to start making good on my goal of exercising regularly this year. I’ll keep you updated on my progress!

Have you done The 30 Day Shred? I’ll admit that Jillian Michaels kind of intimidates me because she seems so intense. I’d love to hear your feedback on the program.

What a great choice for workouts you chose. A girl I went to highschool with many years ago lost over 100 lbs and credited her start to 30 day Shred. I bought it mid last year and had NO idea Jillian was such a brutal gal. If you haven’t been exercising regularly before this…be warned! She is a beast. I found myself cursing at the tv and yelling to Jillian “I’m trying!!!” Great workouts and you will absolutely notice a difference. Good luck. :)

i have done the 30-day shred and LOVED it. it is not a cake walk, but it really works you all over. jillian michaels knows her stuff.

Wow, great before and after shots! I don’t really need to lose, but I could definitely stand some toning, so I’m really excited now.

Thanks, Michelle. I’ll delete it from the post and make sure it gets deleted from the coupon database as well. Do you happen to know if the $0.55/1 Cuties Bag coupon was gone also?

My walmart refused to let me use the b1g1 free coupon with another and humilitated me for it. Sigh Do you know if the coupon policy states that you can use them together? I am trying to keep this stuff on hand so I can show it to them.

Sheri, most policies do not address this situation directly, but the logic behind it is that with a B1G1 coupon, the B1G1 coupon applies to the free item. This means that there is no coupon attached to the item that you’re actually paying for and you can use a second coupon on it. In this scenario, you could only use a $ off 1 item coupon, because using a $ off 2 coupon would violate the terms of one manufacturer’s coupon per item unless you were purchasing 3 items. Does that make sense?

I have tried so many exercise videos and keep coming back to the 30 day shread. It has moves that I can do without worrying about being coordinated like most dance/action videos. The first 4 days I do it I feel sore doing everything, but once you get on the 5th day you suddenly can do the workout and not cringe walking up stairs.

I’ve been doing the 30 day shred since May of last year and I love it! It took a week for my body to get used to the workout, but other than that it was great! It actually became something I looked forward to instead of dreaded.

I want to be a Wal-Mart mom! How did you get that gig? I always say that I am at Wal-Mart more than most of their part-time employees, anyway! :)

Funny that you say that Jillian intimidates you! I have the xbox Kinnect Biggest Loser game and I picked Bob to do all my workouts because Jillian also intimidates me :) I am 2 weeks into it and have considered adding her into my “training” because I’m thinking it would speed things along. Bob has been a great introduction to the program though!

30 day shred is da bomb!! jillian doesn’t mess around with her workouts, and I love the fact that you are in and out in 20 minutes! She tells you on the vid “I am making big promises, and I can’t deliver it in 20 minutes, unless you WORK”!! you will feel so acomplished when you are done working out…kinda like making it through basic training…if you can do this…you can do ANYTHING!! lol
results are FAST in showing up too!

How were your Cuties? I bought some and they were so old the fruit inside was actually hardened. They must have arrived here in PA on the back of a burrow. Not such a great deal when you have to throw them all away. The produce department at our Walmart leaves a lot to be desired. Sigh!

Funny you should ask, Linda… They weren’t hardened like yours, but there were a few rotten ones that I discarded. But even more than that, the couple I’ve tried so far were rather tasteless and disappointing. I don’t think that’s a Walmart issue though — I’d say it goes back to the source.

The 30 Day Shred is great! I don’t use it as recommended because I also do Crossfit (which is intense training in a gym with a trainer). On my days off I do the Shred and even though I’m in pretty good shape it is still a “real” workout. I use two five pound weights when I do it. Good luck!!
