I think walmart has caught on to this. I made the purchase last night around 8pm EST, and had the order cancelled by the morning :(. They where fast to refund the money, which was good. But bummer for a good deal

I did this yesterday and when I got to the store they had only pulled 10 for me but i showed her my invoice and she finally went to get the other 40 off the shelf. The manager was hesitant b/c they were $.40 each in the store but the cashier and shift leader were advocating that they thought what i thought

I ordered “4” of these sets of 5 and went to pick them up today…they only pulled “5” … the guy didn’t know how to adjust it so I told him to refund it… Maybe I should try to do it again…

I ordered 5 sets yesterday and went to pick them up today where they’d only pulled 5 books (1 set). After checking and re-checking they explained there was a typo online but they pulled the other 20 from the shelf and gave them to me. So I got 25 for $2 which I intend to donate all but 2 or 3.

I saw this posted on Money Saving Mom and ordered one set. Dh spent an hour at Walmart trying to pick them up, and then they only gave him ONE! Refused to honor what the reciept said! I complained to customer service and do not recommend ordering.

I just went to the website to try to order these and all it does is show the 5 as a set, but there’s no price listed or way to order them. Bummer…was going to shop thru ebates, too.

So sorry to those who had trouble. I know I just got really lucky as I jumped on this deal on Wed. When I first saw it- ordered 10 and got all 50 today because the cashier at the pickup area said even though it was a glitch, they were honoring the printed deal.

I also saw this early in the week, and ordered 10 sets. They’ve changed the wording on Walmart.com for this deal now. The Walmart I picked mine up from said they had checked it out just an hour earlier because a gentleman had come in with the same deal. The product number for the 5 piece set was the same as the product number of a single composition book, which is why when you went to pick it up, they had only picked 1.
The cashiers & managers I dealt with were extremely nice & courteous. I had no problems what so ever, which is a HUGE difference from my past experiences with WM. I dont shop there for some of those very reasons, so I was pleasantly surprised.

I am shocked that Walmart will not honor their ad. I wrote customer service and got an immediate response that told me they were available in the store, so they were not available online. It clearly says “online”. I think they goofed and rather than honor that, they are shafting the customer. Not making friends that way Walmart! So you lose a little money on an item like this. You are not looking at the big picture of excellent customer service and even more possible shoppers. Why would you not honor it? Maybe I need to go to their headquarters and teach them how to treat their customers!
