    Am I missing something? $5 – $1.50 = $3.50 – $1.00 = $2.50 Right?

$0.41 sounds great, just not seeing it.

Ok, I am REALLY new to this and still don’t get it. Pretend I’m four years old (act it sometimes :)
1.I cut the coupon out of the Walgreens April book, right?
    2. I print out the printable manufacturer coupon Save $1.50 off six or more that you linked us to above, right?
    3. Is it for one roll or a a pack of more than one roll?
I think this is where my confusion lies. If the towels are $5.00 and I buy 6 that’s $30, now I use my coupons and that $4.50 off, where is the $0.41 a roll coming from…..please help me!! Thanks for your patience all. ps: Needing a phone a friend…..help.

Don’t worry – it’s hard until you get used to it!

The coupons are for a pack of six rolls, not for six packs. So if you buy one pack for $5, you get six rolls. Then you take off the $1 Walgreens coupon and the $1.50 manufacturer coupon, and you get the pack of six rolls for $2.50, or $0.41 per roll.

    Lisa,
$5.00 – $2.50 (total for both coupons) = $2.50. Then, divided the $2.50 by 6, because there are 6 rolls of paper towels. What you get is .416666. This makes each roll 41 cents each.

It’s per pack so the 1.50 off is times 6 and the 1 off from the Wags coupons book is times 6 too, so that’s a total of 9 plus 6 equals 15 off. Then she divided the 15 dollars left by 6 rolls times 6 packs to get the .41 cents per roll. Hope that helps!

Thanks all. I’ll tell you the pictures they put on the coupons are what mixes me up with how it will work. I really need to read the coupon and not go by the picture, right? Have a good day all and thanks for helping out the newbie! :)

Will they let you use both coupons on just the one item, or will you have to buy a “filler” item. That’s what always throws me aobut Walgreen’s…

You will have to get a filler, the .39 Reese’s Easter candy is great for that!

I also have to have 1 item per coupon. So if i buy a pack of paper towels and use 2 coupons i end up throwing in a pack of gum or something.

usually it is 1 manufacturer coupon per item and wags coupons don’t go against quantity count. so you can have 1 item and a manufacturer coupon and a register reward at Walgreens since register rewards are considered manufacturer coupons :)

I’m a little confused as to how you can stack the Walgreens booklet coupon with another manufacturer’s coupon. I thought the policy was only one manufacturer’s coupon per product. Isn’t the April savings book all manufacturer’s coupons?
