Walgreens: IVC’s Now Available Online

November 16, 2010 by Stacy @ Saving in Akron 7 Comments

Did you know that you can now print the Walgreens Instant Value Coupons (IVCs) online at Walgreens.com?  These coupons are the same ones that you find in the booklets at the front of the store.   This will help those of you have a hard time finding these booklets in the store.  And remember, since these are Walgreens coupons, they are stackable with manufacturer’s coupons for even more savings!

Stacy from Saving in Akron is the Deal Seeking Mom Store Expert for Walgreens. At Saving in Akron, she teaches her readers how to save more so they can live better.

i was told at mywalgreens that the insatnt value coupons are manufacturer coupons…it says so on the back of the coupon. so, i am not able to use that coupon with another manufacturer coupon. even though it has walgreens coupon on the front, it is still a manufacturer coupon on the back) they say.:(

Lisa, go to Wags website and search for “coupon policy” and then print it out and bring it to your store. It clearly states on the policy that they are not MFQ coupons. You’re being ripped off!

I was told the same thing by a Walgreens cashier the other day, but I think it’s more of a cashier issue, some of them use different excuses when they don’t want to take a coupon…

I am told by cashiers AND managers that these coupons are MANUF. coupons and cannot be used WITH other manuf. coupons. WHY do they say manuf. on them???
VERY CONFUSING and ANNOYING – ripped off but will try the policy.

Yes, the manager at my walgreens pointed to the writing on the coupon-sorry-i meant it is on the front (from orevious comment) it reads…”Limit one coupon per sustomer Manufacturer coupon good only at walgreens. once she showed me that, i was like, “oh, ok” still confused about the coupon policy….i just read it, didn’t see anything about instant value coupons?

I am a cashier at walgreens, and although it does state manufacturer coupon on the IVC coupons it is in fact not a MFC. This decline is solely based on the management of your local store but I assure you we do not keep these coupons. Personally I’d scan them for you, and its bad business practice to decline something on that basis considering we do not get reimbursed for these coupons. They are store coupons just like in our weekly ads.

That’s cool. I didn’t know that IVC was available online. Thanks for the info. Sometimes it’s annoying I get to the store, and they don’t have the booklets!
