Why is everyone putting this out there? The coupon is for the GIFT boxes. Not the individual bars.

Becky, there are several different coupons. One does specify the gift boxes; however, the others state gift chocolate which is not really defined, but the bar size does match up.

      If you’re concerned, there’s also a $1 off manufacturer’s printable on Target.com:

$1/1 Wonka Exceptionals Chocolate Bar printable (Target mfr.)

Coupns.com also had the following Wonka Exceptionals coupons on their site:
    $2/2
    $3/2
    $1/1
    b1g1 free
It specifies 3.5 oz or 4 oz. so you will probably be able to use these on the bars since they are 3.5 oz. I am going to try and see. :)

I was able to use these at Target because they are the 3.5 oz bars.

Just another example of Walgreens not providing what it promises. Combine that with bad service, lack of product, and surly cashiers, I have to wonder why anyone bothers to shop there.

You get what you deserve. Be nice and they’ll be nice back to you. I’ve had only good experiences there.

Not true. Our Walgreen’s wouldn’t take my coupons.com coupons. The cashier said it came up as item not purchased. This happened to me on the Wonka bars and Welch’s Sparkling grape juice. One manager pushed through the coupon for the Welch’s while another would not accept those for the Wonka bars. I decided not to purchase the candy so they cancelled my whole order and started over. When it came time to take my coupon for the Welch’s the second time the register beeped again and the cashier repeated “Item not purchased”. I simply stated that I had purchased the Welch’s sparkling grape juice and said, “I don’t know what the problem is.” The cashier, a woman in her seventies, yelled at me after that. I wasn’t the least bit rude to her and she was VERY rude to me. I agree with Terri, I have rarely had luck using coupons at Walgreen’s and have tried three different stores in my area with the same results. I’m glad you’ve had good experiences at your Walgreen’s eM, but you shouldn’t be so quick to judge that others “get what they deserve.”

Does it matter that the coupon states available at Kmart, Kroger, and Target?

They honored the coupons at 2 different Walgreens that I went to without any problems at all. Register only beeped when they had to enter the price for the B1G1.

I cannot print the coupon from the link that you have listed and all of the coupons on coupons.com specify the box not bar.

Walgreens would not accept the coupon and said is was because it was only for Kroger, Target or whatever other store was listed. I pointed out it was a manufacturer’s coupon and they did not care, so I went Walmart and they took it with no problem. I think if I had another cashier that I regularly used she would have given it to me. I think that has a lot to do with it.

For all who are wondering: there must be a typo on the coupon, since according to the website, the Chocolate Waterfall only comes in bar form and in bags. It does not come in a box. Secondly, it will beep at Wags because the register doesn’t want to give the item to you for free. I tried buying 4 in one transaction, it wouldn’t take one of my $3 off coupons. The cashier said it was because the coupon specified one per purchase (I told her I wasn’t in the mood for verbiage and splitting hairs, since each item is a purchase), so I told her to split the items up. One transaction only for 2 candy bars, the coupon still beeped; I pointed out to her that now I knew I wasn’t wrong, will you just push the coupon through since the items were obviously right. She agreed.

    Update on Walgreens:
I went today and bought 4 bars(no they do not sell boxed versions they are bagged or bar) and used three coupons, one $1 off coupon(walgreens own, could only use one) and two $3/2 off coupons. The store clerk told me the issue is with the Walgreens coupon, not the manufacturer coupon. The walgreens $1 off coupon can only be used once in a transaction. If you try to use two that is where the problem comes. He said though that certain stores sometimes will not accept them, nto because they won’t work on the computer just because they don’t understand the coupons so they deny them.

My grand total(since I had a $5 jingle coupon too) was 0 and I got a free clock out of the deal. :)

I was able to use the coupon at Walgreens after I found out they have to scan the manufacturer coupon(s) first then the Walgreen’s coupon. If they do this you will not have any problem using the coupons at Walgreens….Happy Holidays
