Walgreens: Free Oral-B Toothbrushes

July 6, 2010 by Stacy @ Saving in Akron 5 Comments

oral b advantage

If you need toothbrushes, this is a great week to stock up.  Thanks to the high value coupon in Sunday’s P&G insert, you can get FREE toothbrushes this week at Walgreens.

Oral-B Advantage 1-2-3 Toothbrush, $2.99
Get $1 RR
$2/1 Select Oral-B Toothbrushes, exp. 7-31-10 (P&G 07/04/10)
Better than FREE after coupon and RR!

According to Christie at Wild For Wags, this register reward is rolling, so the deal gets even better if you do a second transaction.  Be aware that rolling register rewards can stop at any time and may not roll all week.

Suggested Scenario #2

Buy (1) Oral-B Advantage 1-2-3 Toothbrush, $2.99
Buy (1) Penway Yellow Pencils, Paper Mate Mechanical Pencils or Pens (10 pk.), $0.19
Get $1 RR
Use $2/1 Select Oral-B Toothbrushes, exp. 7-31-10 (P&G 07/04/10)
Use $1 RR from transaction #1
FREE plus $0.82 overage after coupon and RR

They are also on sale at Rite Aid for $2.49 with a $2 +Up reward. If you use the coupon you end up with $1.50 overage. :)

I thought if you used the rewards for “like” item on your 2nd transaction, it won’t give you a 2nd reward (even if you use a filler item). ?????

They don’t usually. That is why they said it is “rolling.” You can try it to see if it works. They may fix it. You never know. Like they say YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary).

Don’t P&G RR always say they’re not good on P&G products? Isn’t “rolling” them a violation of the RR terms?

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT. Read more.
