Will you need a filler item for this as well, or no?

U don’t need a filler, if u do the math 12-7=5 so u pay $5+tax out of pocket.

Where is it in the booklet – I’ve looked all through it and can’t find it – I’m sure I just overlooked it, please help.

My local Walgreens wouldn’t allow me to use a coupon from the IVC booklet for Huggies wipes along with a manuf. coupon. I even spoke with a manager. Very disappointing!

Walgreens always gives me a hard time about using coupons on products that give you register rewards. I have tried going to different Walgreens to see if any of them are pleasant, but their not. I think it is policy that they only hire difficult people!

usually the cashiers who are young are clueless about their coupon policy. and i guess they dont stay long enough to become experts on it.

Sometimes ads will say (on certain RR products) “coupon savings in most Sunday papers” find and keep one of those to show to your cashier if they give you a hard time. I think the Garnier RR this week says it (page is partially cut off online).

What??? No it’s not included. I specifically looked at the ad yesterday and it clearly states that the 2/$10 does NOT include the swirl nyquil. I even asked the cashier if i could go ahead and do it but she said it wasn’t included in the sale. Did someone actually buy it and find that it worked?

Yes, Rachel, several people have confirmed that it is indeed working even though the ad says it is excluded. You can always return them if it doesn’t work for you!

I think they are excluded from the sale price (2/$10) that the other ones ring up but they still work for the register reward.

lisa is right…i went to do the deal tonight, and although they are not on sale (each rang up as $6.49 for me instead of $5.99), the $5 RR came out.

so i just tried this nyquil deal. i got just the original flavored ones for 2 for 10$. as the cashier was scanning the coupons, the register was beeping on the 2$ in-store sept booklet coupon. the cashier said she could manually work it in but that she couldnt use include the 1.50 (X 2) manufacturer’s coupon. i said ok better to have the higher value deducted than the lower coupon.

when i got home i realized that the machine didnt print the 5$ RR for it. *sigh* so i basically got the 2 for 3$ apiece.

I think the in-store coupon beeped for you because you bought the regular nyquil; the in-store coupon only specifies that its valid on the cherry swirl…

You should never, ever, not be allowed to use 1 manufacturer coupon AND 1 store coupon PER item…ever. If they will not allow it, you should definitely call corporate, and keep calling until you get the answers you want. I recently sent the store manager a letter and a copy of the policy and haven’t had a problem since. All too often, the cashiers AND the managers, have never even fully read it. Store managers do not trump corporate policy. And always hand the cashier the manufacturer coupon first. Sometimes if they are all in a stack, they will go through them and scan them they way THEY want. I do not even hand them the store coupon until they have scanned the MC. If you are paying with RR, you DO need a filler on this deal.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say you have done a great job with this. Also, the blog loads very fast for me on Internet explorer. Superb Blog!
