Any idea (or educated guess) when Wags is going to do their super cheap, great diaper deal again. The B1G1 combined with their coupon from the infant care booklet at the beginning of the year?

I’m running low and I can’t stand the thought of spending more if the deal is possibly only a week away!

Has anyone else run into this annoying problem?? Walgreens has awesome sales and coupon matchups..I’ll give them that. But they NEVER stock enough product for their sales! I still have a rain check for the b1g1 snuggle that they never got in, in the first place! I just go to walmart for the ad match, only thing is, walmart doesn’t match b1g1. So I just walk into Walgreens and get rain checks basically.. :( Then wait..and wait..annnnd wait till they get product in stock and pray my coupons don’t expire first!

We have this problem at Walgreens in our area too. It seems like it’s just started within the past few weeks.

I was told at my local store that they have been slammed with couponers since the start of the extreme couponing show. I think it might take a while for everything to balance out. Till then I keep collecting my rain checks.

I have this exact same problem. When I spoke to the store manager on several occasions about the products I have rain checks I was told that there is only a set number each week they are sent from the distribution center and that they cant adjust that number to order more for a sale. I have been checking at Walgreens to see if the item is in stock and if not i take my ad to my local CVS store and they haven’t had a problem price matching (yes, even the B1G1 deals with a paired coupon). So maybe if you are having as hard of time as I do getting items from Walgreens maybe that would work for you too. Good luck!

Walmart’s policy on their website (https://walmartstores.com/10563.aspx) says they will price match a B1G1F sale if the price is listed in the competitors ad. I know Walgreens doesn’t always list the price but it should help you get a couple of them atleast.

Christine: I have had the same problems for several weeks now. Very frustrating.. you spend time matching the sales, clipping the coupons to find out they dont have any in stock.

Walgreens is figuring this out that the customers are getting frustrated and she gave me the store’s email address and for me to email her my shopping list each week and they can preorder for me!! Hope this works… I was excited!!

Walgreens on Two Notch Road and Garners Ferry Road in Columbia, SC are always out of advertised specials by Tuesday and sometime on Mondays. Have started shopping at CVS only. Rather disappointed in Walgreens.

Our Walgreens has been really willing to cooperate lately with this same problem. The B1G1 Clean & Clear bodywash sale was out on the first day, with the coupon expiring at the end of the week. In a separate transaction, they rang up my raincheck and coupons, and I only paid the tax. Then took my name and phone number, and said they would call when it comes in. I figure, if it works, I get 6 free bottles; if it doesn’t, I’m out some odd cents. I like the idea of pre-ordering though!

I’ve recently found out that our Walgreens will allow customers to purchase the following Sunday’s sale on Saturday night. I don’t understand this, as the ad states Sunday’s date to Saturday’s date, but that’s what’s happening here.

Most stores “release” the ad the night before this gives them time to pull down the old ad tags and hang the new ones for the ad starting. Every week there is over 1000 tags that have to be hung and they like it done before the ad starts so customers can shop easier

I just recently left Walgreens after 4 years in management. I have alot of answers for your questions. As far as only getting what the Distribution center sends thats a load of crap there is an order day 4 days before every delivery where they can “bump” up the order. Most stores also get a smart fill in between trucks (this they cant order from) If you are having a lot of trouble with walgreens call 800 WALGREENS they will send a big ol nasty message to the manager telling them to contact you and fix the issue. And let me be clear Ad outs are a BIG deal in the business and corporate dont like to hear about it… It will def. Help you out. Same if they wont accept your coupon.
