FYI – In Michigan, pseudophedrine is regulated, I assumed this was everywhere in the US. They make me show ID and sign some kind of statement that I won’t misuse it (or something).
They won’t sell you two of these 48 packs in one day, it’s exceeds the regulation (some drug is made of psuedophedrine). Most places (in my experience) will only sell you one pack a day (12, 24 or 48 count). Occasionally, someone will sell you two because the content is the same (but not often will someone do that).
I’ll be picking up some of these this week or or matching some other un&up product with them for the $5 card :)
Thank you!
Tamara
i guess it varies, in utah and ohio i never had an issue buying 2qty 48 ct. they usually wont let you buy 2x 96 ct. but if they sell a 96 count then 2x 48 is allowed. might want to ask pharmicist..they are well versed on limits :)
Tamara
my target said its not included in sale :/ because its a behind counter item
Tamara
i think the wrong item is pictured. on other sites they show the PE version which is sold in the aisle not behind counter.

It’s my understanding that the correct product is pictured, but this may be a regional deal due to the variance in laws between states. There should be a sign on the shelf if the deal is available, and there will be cards that you take to the pharmacy to pick up the product.

I bought what was pictured and was not given a $5 gift card. $6 was still a good deal for 2 packs however.

I went to check it out at my Target, but the pharmacy was closed already so I couldn’t check :(
I’d have gotten one and something else that I’d use for the $5 gift card!
The rules are weird, some Targets will only sell me one box of the smaller boxes (16 or 20 or 24 count?) but other pharmacists will say the law is based on how many milligrams contained in the product and sells me two of the smaller boxes. They actually have to type my DL number in the computer and have the computer say “yes” I think it cross checks my driver’s license to make sure I haven’t been to multiple pharmacies that day (at least that’s what they say at CostCo). I think Michigan law is 2,400mg a package, but I don’t think there is a monthly limit.
I got a doctor to write me a script for it once so I didn’t have to buy multiple small packages (I think this was before I found the 48 counts), but they wanted to charge me extra since it’s a “prescription” and it wasn’t worth the extra effort (I think the “they” in this case was CostCo).
Sorry that we went off topic on the regulation. But that was the item in the graphic :)
