Does stacking coupons work even if the fine print says 1 coupon per transaction?

Target’s stance is that it’s up to the store manager on how many to accept. I’ve never had an issue personally, but I know other have. I think most stores will allow it as long as you are purchasing a reasonable number of items and not going to extremes.

What is the Target “hot spot”?

It’s the Dollar Spot that’s in the front of stores where most items are priced from $1-$2.50 or so.

The store closest to me is out. I tried about 2 hours after the post. The one on the other end of town had 21 boxes. It did work. However, if I wasn’t headed to the other end of town I wouldn’t have chased it at $3.55/gallon for gas.

I only see 50 cents off 1 on the Target coupons. No $1.50/3.

I still see it — it says $1.50 off with purchase of three select General Mills items and has a pic of Cheerios and Nature Valley Granola Bars on the front.

My Target had the $1 boxes of granola bars but “wouldn’t take” my coupon. Didn’t offer any explanation of why, just that my Target coupon was “not working” and what did I want to to.. I told her to take them out of my bag. I hate when that happens.

It’s ok though, I still got TLC cereal bars, 2 rimmel mascaras, up & up pantiliners, up & up ibuprofen, 20 ct. excedrin and satin care shave gel for $1.81.. all in all, a good Target day

@Renee….as a Target manager I can honestly tell you that your coupon was not taken because if it does not scan we do not have to except it. MANY stores are going towards this not scanning? not accepting because folks are copying and making duplicates and such. Sucks for everyone…including me who uses the CRAP out of coupons…I stack, buy duplicates and use this site weekly:) I am a cheapskate:P
    Hope this helps:)

Just got back from Target. Once again they would not accept THEIR own coupons when I tried to do this deal. Don’t take the chance and waste gas. The shift manager said she would not accept and didn’t even seem to care. She knew ahead of coming to the register that she would not accept the coupon. I even called corporate from the store and there was nothing they could/would do. With the if it does not scan excuse there is no reason for them to honor any coupon, so what is the point of shopping there??

How do you get 3 granola bar boxes free with a .50 coupon for a $1 box? I am new to this. I would think I would go in with my coupon and pay .50 for a $1 box of granola bars and if I bought 3 boxes, it would be .50 for each totalling $1.50. Please fill me in. Thanks so much.
