It is Target’s policy to only accept one per transaction. I did this and used one printable $5 target and one $5 off target coupon from the coupon booklet that came with the free cosmetics bag from Target. They are different coupon codes and I had no problem. I guess that if your Target will take more than one of the same you are lucky, but I never feel right trying to sneak it by the cashier when their policy is one per transaction. I used this hair color last night and really liked it!

Actually, I’ve talked with Target customer service about this previously, and it’s at the store manager’s discretion to accept more than one Target coupon per transaction. That wording is in place to give them grounds to limit them if someone appears to be abusing the system.

I received a small booklet of target coupons in the mail the other week, and it included a $5/1 John Frieda color. However, neither of my local targets have this product in stock. Kinda frustrating.

Can someone please explain to me how to get this deal?

Explain it to me like you would to a little kid! Hahaha! I’ve never understood how to use these coupons!

Are the SS coupons in the newspaper?

I don’t get Sunday’s newspaper, does that mean that I can’t get this deal?

Yes, SS stands for Smart Source-it’s one of the coupon booklets that come in Sunday’s paper. Getting Sunday’s coupon inserts are pretty crucial to couponing-you can try to see if any local businesses would give you their leftovers. I get some from a local gas station. Or, just go buy a paper each Sunday.

Is this an unadvertised sale? I do not see it listed in the ad, nor does any target in my area seem to have this product.

It was not in my ad either, or marked on the shelf, but it did work. My Target only had these on an endcap, btw, not in the regular hair color section.

I gave up on the SS coupons.

I printed 2 of the $5 off Target coupons and if you go on the John Frieda website you can print out a $1 off coupon.

Just go on this page… https://www.johnfrieda.com/en-US/homecolour/landing.aspx

On the bottom of the page click on “Features & Offers” then “Find Your Ideal Shade For $1 off” and follow the steps.

I got a discount of $16 and my total was $13.98 because they didn’t let me use the $5 gift card on that purchase. They said I had to use it another day.

    GENERAL WARNING:
This is a general warning to all couponers with husbands…and a little way for me to vent at the same time….
Don’t trust them with your coupons unless you are present! Tonight my DH was heading to Target for some kitty food. I thought I would pose him with the task of picking up 2 of these Precision Foams, and save me the time. I wrote out my list in detail, so that he wouldn’t get confused. Well, to make a long story short, he did what all men do and instead of reading the list, he skimmed and bought 4 hair colorings instead of the 2 I had asked for (apparently when I explained that coupons “stacked” he didn’t understand what I meant, but just nodded like he did). I still don’t think he understands what I meant by “stacked”. So, now I have 4 hair colorings that I paid $18 for instead of 2 with my small profit. Eeee. Gah. Beware! End of rant. Just don’t trust others with your coupons ;-)

Ok, my target finally put up the endcap today. I bought four boxes and paid 4.82 and received the 5dlr gcard. I used two target printable coupons and two smartsource coupons. They would not let me use the gcard in that transaction, so I bought the second two boxes and used the first gcard. So I paid 4.82 out of pocket and left with one 5 dlr gcard. Interesting that target charges tax on the gcard. My subtotal came out to be 8.98 (3.98+gcard) plus .09 tax came out to 4.82
