Target: FREE Gillette Razor

August 3, 2010 by Beth @ In Good Cents 7 Comments

If you are checking out the Back To School deals, make sure to keep your eyes peeled at Target for 1-Subject Spiral Notebooks as low as $0.15 with a special notice attached announcing “Over $5 of Target Coupon Savings Inside”.  Notebooks come in all varieties – wide rule, college rule, and composition.  The coupons inside notebooks vary, but they are all Target Store Coupons that expire on October 31,2010. You can stack these with manufacturer coupons to save even more!

Here’s a few coupons I found inside various notebooks:

  • $2.50/1 Gillette Select Razors
  • $0.75/1 Secret Deodorant
  • $1/$5 Energizer Purchase
  • $1/1 Frito-Lay Multipack (20-22 ct.)

Use the Gillette coupon to make the Gillette Razor deal this week FREE!

Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual Razor , $8.99
Get $5 Target gift card wyb 2

$4/1 Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor, exp. 8-31-10 (P&G 08/01/10)
$2.50/1 Gillette Select Razors (Target Notebooks)
FREE plus $0.01 overage each wyb 2 after stacked coupons & gift card!

Unfortunately, my Target was almost all sold out, but I’ve heard there are more notebooks with different coupons including Swiffer, Yoplait and more.  If you find one, come back and share what coupons you found.  Plus, the manager told me there would be a new shipment coming in soon!

Don’t forget to check out this week’s Target Deals and the Ongoing Target Deals for more opportunities to save.

Can you use the Target 5$ gift card at the same time as you’re buying the 2 razors, or is that for later on?

The gift card is issued during that transaction, so it cannot be redeemed until your next purchase. Hope that helps!

I don’t get how it’s free if you put together the $4 off coupon+ the $2.50 coupon thats $6.50 off a $9. razor?

    @Marie J.
You would need 2 of the Procter & Gamble coupon sections from the Sun., 8/1 paper to do this deal the way Tara figured it out and 2 of the notebooks that include this coupon.

Personally I think CVS & Walgreens have the better deal with $5.00 EB / $5.00 RR when you buy ONE of these razors and use one of the $4.00 P&G coupons. It’s “like paying” 99 cents at CVS & 89 cents at Wags.

    $8.99 times 2 = $17.98
    minus 2 P&G coupons @ $4.00 each = $9.98
    minus 2 (notebook) coupons @ $2.50 each = $4.98
get $5.00 gift card when you buy 2 razors = -$0.02 (2 cent moneymaker)

    (plus tax)

    Hope that helps! :)

I went to the Target in Canton and they didn’t have any notebooks w/ the 2.50 coupons. Do you know what areas have those coupons?

Jennifer, My Target had boxes upon boxes of notebooks, but only a few had the notice on them. I had to dig through to find them, but the manager said there would be more coming in soon. Many had already been purchased. I know they’ve been seen in Florida and Texas as well (I’m in Indiana), but I don’t know the exact areas that will have them.

If anyone else gets lucky, let us know your area to give us a better idea!
