I think the target coupon link is wrong – it goes to betty crocker’s website.

The second link is a Betty Crocker coupon website and I don’t see any Target coupons for American Greeting Cards there. ?

Urgh I just went to target and ended up leaving with nothing. The cashier I had was awful got the manage for every coupon complained about the coupons. I had to argue with him and finally gave up and left.

THAT IS TERRIBLE!!!! What was her problem??? She has to take the coupons, and the Manager should have accepted them!

I have no idea. He was like your free item is more then the item you are buying. I said I no but the coupon doesn’t say I have to buy the most expensive item. I was going by what the coupon said. The cashier was just giving me grief the whole time and we only started with the first 3!! I just had to give up and leave. I’ve never had a problem like that. So I will make sure not to go back to him again!!

Brittanie, that was awful. By any chance, did you take the cashier and manager’s names? If you have it, write or call customer service and complain. Maybe they will send you some coupons. It happened to me once and I complained and they send me a $20 gift card.

Oops, sorry — yes, the coupon is on the Target website. I found it on the last page and it says “$1 off with purchase of three greeting cards”.

The Target coupon explicitly states to limit on coupon or offer per transaction. I’m not sure you’ll be able to use two for free cards. Maybe purchasing 3 and using both sets for cheaper cards.

The Target coupon says only one per transaction. Think they will let us use 2 Target coupons for this?

All Target coupons have this wording on them, but most stores will accept more than one in a single transaction. I’ve talked with customer service about this in the past, and apparently it’s up to the store manager’s discretion. Most will let you use a few as long as you’re not being excessive, so please don’t abuse it! The site should only let you print two anyhow.

Okay, I just got back from Target, but no cards :o( Printed the $2/2 manuq and the $1/3 Target q, but couldn’t find the cards for $1.29. Only .99 (excluded on q) and $1.99. Do you have to go to a Super Target to find the $1.29 price? Which cards should I look for?

My Target is strict on the “only 1 Target coupon” rule. I have to split my stuff into separate transactions if I want to buy more than one of something and use a TQ. Also, my store doesn’t carry any $1.29 cards. They have some 99 cent cards, but those aren’t included in the deal. The next cheapest card is $1.99 and there weren’t very many of them.

Tried this at Target today and they wouldn’t accept the Facebook coupon because it wouldn’t scan. The resolution was too poor for some reason and kinda blurry. Don’t know if it was an issue with my printer, or the coupon itself…

I tried today as well. The Target near me (not a Super – we don’t have one) only had $.99 cards and then $1.99. I only wanted the free so left with none – oh well!

Also, I asked about the Carlton cards and was told that ALL cards at Target are made by American Greetings. They are just branded under different names.

if a coupon is over the price of the item, target register is adjusts itself to the price of the item. for example if I have a $1 coupon for an item that’s 97 cents it will only deduct 97 cents. believe me, even managers don’t know this.

Zuly- I’ve had items that were similar but the cashier usually manually over rides it.So…some items I’ve had as small money makers.I had that happen with dental floss a week ago and something else not to long ago. I made 30 cents on that.

Don’t waste your time on this one-there simply aren’t any cards for exactly $1.29. Either .99 or $1.99.

I went in today and got mine.I ended up getting 4 cards not 6 and purchasing my hubby’s Valentine’s Day card in another order. So, I used 2 of the American greetings promo coupons and 1 of the Target ones.Overall I spent around 3.00 for them not counting my hubby’s card. I needed both my kid’s birthday cards and 2 other bday card’s for my friend’s kid’s anyways. I was also wondering about the Carlton cards and purchased what we needed only using the Target coupon and then after coming home and finding out Carlton and 3 other brands are associated with American Greetings I had my husband run back and get that readjusted, along with a coupon error I noticed when we left and I sent him back with 2 more coupons I found when we came home off of other items we bought.
I had trouble finding what I wanted in general though.=(
