Walmart Gas Rollback: Save Up to $0.15 Per Gallon

As gas prices continue to creep up, I know we’re all looking for easy ways to cut the costs. In August, gas prices increased by a whopping $0.25 per gallon, and we all know how that adds up. In response, Walmart has brought back their Great Gas Rollback to help consumers save a little more at the pump!

Through December 24th, Walmart customers using a Walmart gift card (yes, any regular old Walmart gift card) will receive a $0.10 per gallon discount. Customers who use a Walmart MoneyCard or Walmart credit card will save $0.15 per gallon on their fuel purchase. Easy enough, isn’t it?

Gas will be discounted at more than 1,000 Murphy USA and Walmart gas stations located at Walmart Supercenters in the following participating states: Arkansas, Alabama*, Florida*, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

Note that the Great Gas Rollback differs slightly in Florida and Alabama due to state regulations. You can find additional details here.

Last year, customers saved nearly $60 million with the gas Rollback program. This year’s results could be even higher with the increase to a possible $0.15 savings per gallon over last year’s flat $0.10 savings!
