If you’re at all vaguely interested in gaming, it’s probably safe to say that you’re aware that Star Wars Battlefront will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17th (officially at 12:01 a.m. EST). I know I’ve been hearing my husband and older boys chatting about this game for at least the past year, and they are totally looking forward to playing it together.
BUT they’ll have to wait just a little longer because, even though I preordered three copies, they’re going under the Christmas tree until Christmas morning! Does that make me a rotten mom?
If you’re debating about picking Battlefront up as a gift, you might want to head over to Walmart right now! They’ve been hosting a play-it-before-you-can-buy-it event in select stores since last Friday. We ran over last Friday to check it out, and it was pretty easy to spot the location they were holding it at — it’s kind of hard to miss the giant Millennium Falcon hanging from the ceiling!
Unfortunately, the live demo in my store wasn’t working at that time (hopefully it’s fixed now!), but I was able to pick up some fun coloring sheets for my youngest boy and snag a cupcake to eat while checking out the latest Stars Wars The Force Awakens toys. We were too disappointed, though — my husband and boys already played the beta version, and they haven’t stopped talking about it.
I think it’s safe to say it’s going to be a looooonnnnnggg six weeks until Christmas!

- Eastern: 8:00 p.m. – 12:01 a.m.
- Central 7:00 p.m. – 11:01 p.m.
- Mountain 6:00 p.m. – 10:01 p.m.
- Pacific 5:00 p.m. – 9:01 p.m.
