I do not recommend trying for this rebate! I did this rebate a couple of years ago and never received the money. I contacted customer service and even though I had a copy of the UPC code and the receipt, they claimed that they never received the form and there was nothing they could do now since I no longer had the original UPC code (which I sent in with the rebate submission).

Thanks Karla! Did anybody else try this in the past? Good or bad? (maybe your bad experience was not normal, but it sounds like their customer service stinks anyway! Sorry you had such a bad experience!)

I have never done this particular rebate but here is my experience with rebates:
The KEY is before you send it make a COPY of EVERYTHING. I have never had a rebate fail; some just take a little more work than others. If they send a postcard saying I am disqualified; I call the 800 number, anwser their question or read to them what was missing. Sometimes they will send the check from that date other times they may asked me to resubmit MY COPY. They usually make notation of that conversation so there will not be a problem. I note whom I spoke to. Hope that helps.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
