SoBe Heads or Tails B1G1 Coupon Reset (FREE at CVS)

June 30, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 83 Comments

Karen emailed to let me know that the B1G1 Sobe printable coupon you can win playing the SoBe Heads or Tails instant win game seems to have reset. Sure enough, I just won one and was able to print again. Not only was I able to print it again, but it seems like there is no print limit on it currently!

CVS will have SoBe Lifewater on a B1G1 sale this coming week starting 7/4, so you can possibly get two totally FREE with coupon!

Thanks, Minnesota Coupon Adventure!

This probably means we’ve gotten all our Qs up front and won’t need to play again until they’re reset (if they ever are). Unless we’re aiming for some of their other neat prizes. =)

Uhm… I clicked on “no” (b/c I don’ have a cap code). It takes me to the room with the peeps on/around the couch. I pick my character & it doesn’t do anything after that. I’ve tried on both IE and AOL and still nothing else happens after I click on a person. What gives?!?

I’d be happy just to get to play, let alone get a B1G1 coupon(s). I’ve been trying to play this for the last 3 weeks and have yet to enter ONCE. When I was able to get to the sign-in part (after people on sofa/spin the cap), it froze up & crashed my windows. The past few nights it only loaded to 58%. I’m going to have to call SoBe about this. I even have a winning cap code (1 so far-have more to open) and I can’t play. This game is NOT designed for dial-up users. :P

Tried again and 3rd night (morning) in a row and it hangs at 58%. Is there anyone that was able to print 10-25+ that would be kind enough to send me a few coupons? :)

Kat, I think they’ve updated it now so you can only print two. But the nice thing is it seems you can print two every time you win — at least I’ve been able to the past few days!

FYI: You should be able to print up to 4 each day. After printing the 2 Q’s from the first game, if you go back to the original link here on DSM and play the game again, you can print two more by linking up with the other method (facebook or register/sign in) to redeem prize. That’s how it’s worked for me each day, anyway!!! :)

Just as an fyi – if you’re playing the game click on “info” at the left hand side of the screen. It clearly states you are to only play once per day. So you can do it pretty much as long as you want but only once per day. They can actually not give you prizes if they see you’ve played several times per day – against their regulations.

I did this deal at CVS today. They only had some of the flavors marked as being part of the B1G1 promotion but actually all of the flavors were.

The ad has a limit of 6 so you can buy 12 Sobe, use 6 B1G1 and owe $0.00 on a single transaction. We did 3 transactions today and got 36 Sobe Water for ABSOLUTELY FREE. I LOVE this Deal!!

I had previously printed 25 of these BOGO coupons and saved them for the CVS deal when I went in yesterday. The ad said a limit of 6 (so 12 total free); however, there was no limit on any of the signage with the product, and I was able to get all 50 FREE in one transaction. LOVE IT. Thank you DSM :)

I just came back from a CVS, and tried to purchase 24 Sobes and using 12 coupons and the cashier called the Manager and the Manager told the cashier no I couldn’t do it because on the coupon it says “only 1 coupon per purchase. I don’t quite understand what that means. I guess you technically can only use 1 coupon per transaction. Is this correct?? Has anybody else had this problem?

It sounds like they’re confusing one per purchase with one per transaction — they’re not the same thing. Technically you should have been allowed to purchase 12 SoBes with 6 coupons per the limit of 6 deals in the ad.

Lisa, it’s amazing how many cashiers and managers don’t understand what a “purchase” is. The idea behind the wording is to keep people from buying 1 bottle/box/whatever and then using 3 coupons to pay for it. Personally, if I were confronted with your situation, I would politely ask them to all be rung up separately. There’s no reason they can’t all be together (except that CVS has a limit of 6).

Thank you Tara and Sherri for the information. It almost happened again today when I went to a different CVS and tried to purchase 12 Sobes and using 6 coupons. The cashier looked at one of the coupons and the District Manager was standing there and she asked him and right away he said “Nope, these coupons look fake”. I informed him that I printed them directly from Sobe and they are having a Heads or Tails game and you win them. He then said, wellllll, I’ll only take 1 coupon not all 6. I told him I have the coupon policy and it clearly states CVS takes legal and scan able internet coupons period. He then took one and went to his office to call someone and came out and handed my coupons to the cashier and told her to scan them. Low and behold they scanned!!!!, then they both were saying it’s only 1 coupon per purchase and I said yes I know and I am purchasing 6 and using 6 coupons and getting 6 more free. BOTH the cashier and District Manger could not understand and were now saying that I am already getting 1 for free so these coupons are not legit. Why is this so difficult?? You would think a District Manager would know the coupon policy. They all act like you are stealing from them. Amazing to say the least!!!!

This has happened to me more than once when using coupons …being treated like we stealing from them.
I was using the free tropicana coupon from tropicana juicy rewards… and the lady says “nope ! we cant use them! Its a fake”
I said that i got it from tropicana …n she was no way its a fake….

Its frustrating to be treated like a thief…when u have a valid color coupon with watermark n all from the company!

happened to me at walmart with the leapest tag book coupons. I had
5 books that where on clearance for 7 dollars. I had 5 coupons for 5 dollars each. They said that I could not use all of them, only one. I said no thanks and walked out. A month later the store manager gave me a call, he told me that I could use the coupons now. I told him that the coupons had expired and I threw them out. He said that he would take the coupon value off of the books. Sad to say the the clearance books where all gone, all that they had left was the full price books. No THANKS TO THAT.

Whenever I come across a cashier that seems hesitant, I use the opportunity to ‘educate’ the person. I show them the identifier number and how they can tell if a coupon is photocopied or not. They really seem to appreciate it. :)

OK, I must just be dense. The site loads, I choose a charactor, but I don’t have a code, which they say is OK if I choose option for don’t have code an help them untwist the cap. How to I get the character to untwist the cap? No instructions for dummies on that part.

No worries. I couldn’t figure it out at first either. You just have to click where the little circle starts, hold down on your mouse, and twist it (counterclockwise of course)! Just be sure to not let go while you have clicked on it, or you will have to start over. :)

CVS have to protect themselves from fraud all the time. We are not handed a book with all the coupons available in them. When we see something printed off the internet we get a little nervous. Most of all when u use 6 at a time. If they are fake the coupon redemption center will not give us credit and we have to pay for those 6.

I work at CVS – the policy is when a product is buy one get one free you’re not buying two you are indeed buying one and getting one free therefore in order to use a buy one get one free you have to BUY 1 – why is that so hard for you to understand? So, if you buy one you can get 2 free with the coupon so the store is giving you one for buying one and sobe is giving you one for buying one but its BUY 1 get 1 not get one get one – be real.

I apologize if I ready this wrong, but I wanted to make sure I understood it correctly. The way I have understand the BOGO sale & coupon to work is that, the one I’m paying for, I’m paying for with my coupon. Are you saying that for each duo BOGO deal, it would in fact cover (3) three Sobe’s, in this example…one you BUY and literally pay for, then one you get for free from the sale, and one more you get free from the coupon??? Thanks! :)

Some stores do process a B1G1 coupon used on a B1G1 sale as buy one get two free. However, in my experience, CVS has always given both items free.

Yes you can pay for 1 and get three free basically 4 lifewaters come up as 2 sets of 2 so at this point you’re paying for two and the coupons will take one of those 2 off so you pay for 1 and get three free – if a cashier has taken the coupon so you get them free they can get fired – because if you do not buy one we do not get credit for them – so if you buy one you literally pay for and it comes with a free one from cvs then the coupon covers one because you’ve bought one and that one comes with a free one from cvs totally four for the price of one
