Thanks for the code. However, the shipping cost is much more than $1. The shipping charge is saw was $15 and that was just for 1 item.

Kim, I’m wondering if you live outside a local delivery area, or if you picked something that has to be shipped via UPS or something? My delivery was only $1 as well, to be dropped off by a Schwann’s delivery truck (as opposed to shipped). I’m sorry your delivery fee was so much more!

FYI – I wasn’t sure how this works, so I emailed customer service, and go the following response:
Thank you for contacting us. Yes, once you sign up for service a Customer Service manager will stop for you every two weeks. If you would like to arrange something different, just speak with the Customer Service manager to work out a schedule for you.

I ordered mine the night before last and they delivered it yesterday! The Schwans guy was not happy about this however. He tried to tell me that I had to order $25 worth of product in order to use this deal. I told him that I didn’t want it then and he persisted to try to charge me 5.99 or so for the hashbrowns I ordered. I told him “I have a receipt inside that says I owe you .99”. He made some calls & checked on it and then with grinding teeth gave me the hashbrowns for .99.
Do they work on some kind of commision based on their routes sells? I have never seen a delivery guy so concerned about how much I spent! He did NOT want to give me that deal.

Thanks for the code! I order from Schwans all the time so a little savings is nice. As for the drivers reaction to the previous poster, that was completely uncalled for. I would never order just one or two items from my driver because I don’t feel it’s worth his time. He has a number of customers to see each day and is often out until 9 pm or later. If I don’t need much I just call him and cancel that week. However, the previous posters driver should have put a big old smile on his face and said he hoped she like the item enough to become a regular customer.
