My local Walgreens refused to let me use both coupons, since they said that the in-store Walgreens coupon is considered a manufacturer’s coupon and they can’t double manufacturer’s coupons.

The walgreens associate is wrong. The in store coupon is a store coupon, not manufacture coupon. They should have let you use both…I would have called a manager to get the transaction through. I always use both in store and manufacture together at my walgreens north of chicago without any problems. Good luck and stand your ground on this. You are right.
