The Pinecone Research application is open again right now!
Pinecone pays in a timely manner at a rate of $3 per survey via check or Paypal, and they often have product tests that go along with the surveys, so they’re definitely one of the best survey companies to get on board with.
PLEASE NOTE: If you’ve applied to Pinecone recently, do not fill out the application form again. I’ve been working closely with them, and they let me know that this creates more work for them as they process the applications when they have to weed out multiple registrations.

On the registration they ask if you or someone in your immediate family works for a drug store/supermarket. My husband works for a drug store, does this mean I would not qualify with pinecone?

When I click on the link it says this offer is not available in my area. How do they know in what area I’m located? Or does it mean they filled out all their spaces already?

I have signed up and received my 1st $3.00 check. I completed another survey yesterday so my 2nd check is on the way! Did anyone else get asked to join their “sister” company Nielsen Digital Voice? If so, has anyone signed up for it or can anyone share their thoughts about this company?

I signed up on 6/20 and did my 1st survey on 6/23 & I received my 1st check today 6/28/10. I think they move pretty fast. Free money!!!

i completed my first survey on saturday. i havent gotten an email saying ive been paid through paypal. but from comments above, it looks like i am waiting for the mail to come with a check from them?? im wondering when i’ll get it. hopefully soon :-)

I signed up and was accepted about 2 months ago. I love them. They respond right away to any questions I’ve had and payment does come right away.

I just got two $3 checks in the mail today from PInecone… I’m just double checking here.. I was hoping to be paid thru paypal, but they sent me these checks instead.. I do trust that this company is legit because I heard about it from dealseekingmom, but I’m still just a little worried. So the checks are ok?

The checks should be just fine, Toni. It sounds like you need to go into your profile and indicate that you’d prefer to be paid via Paypal if that’s what you want. They do offer both methods.

I was wondering the same thing. I have been nervous to put these checks through my account. They said you have to be invited to be paid through pay pal. I am very hesitant to cash the checks. I definately need reassurance.

I made comment number 9. I got my check about a week later, which was a few days ago. I completed another survey on Saturday so im looking forward to that $3.00. This is great.
Tara, I wanted to ask you if you know of any other REAL Legitimate companies where they cut you a check like this for surveys AND do you know if I will get a W2 from this company. Do you know how taxes work?? Thanks!!

Pinecone is definitely the best, but I’m working on a page that will list other legitimate survey companies. It’s not likely that you’ll receive a W-2 unless you earn over $400, but you’ll still need to claim applicable income.
