This week at Safeway, strawberries are on sale for B1G2 FREE! Many Just for U members will find a special price on strawberries at $2.49/lb on their club card as well.
That would be a great deal all by itself, but for some reason, the strawberries are actually ringing up at 3 lbs. for just $0.99 total, which is a price that really can’t be beat!
Like bananas, you can freeze strawberries to use in smoothies and baked goods. You can also make homemade freezer jam!
