Tara: Have you had any problems w/ the Meijer Mealbox coupons? They always show .00 off. I was assured by check out clerks that although they show that, they do take off the amount of money is the overall total. Well, I had a short slip last week so I was actually able to check my total and none of the three I used came off anywhere. I discovered this after getting home. When I went back to the store this week, asking why nothing came off and why it always shows .00, I couldn’t get an answer. I’m wondering if these coupons ever work. They always show .00. My MPerks show when they’ve been taken off. I find it hard to believe that I’m failing to purchase the right items every time (plus I’m very careful to buy the items listed). I’ll be waiting for your response.

usually you will see the mealbox coupons take off on the slip where that item is on the slip.

Jenny — I had this same issue — I had a total that I should have saved and my mealbox coupons weren’t there and my total was off.. I now don’t use them because of the hassle and it is a 30 minute drive and I am not wasting gas to have to deal with those errors anymore!

Jenny, you do have to keep an eye on it. The Mealbox coupons show up as $0.00 when you scan them. I make sure to watch the total to make sure that it goes down the proper amount. On your receipt right under the items, you should see the amount subtracted. It’ll be divided up if you had to buy multiple items to use the coupon.
