Laura, chances are it was not a real invoice. Magazines are notorious for sending mailings that look like an invoice but are really just forms trying to get you to extend your subscription. I receive them every week.

i had to keep writing reviews, and the word count changed all the time. i wasted too much time with their stupid broken system. Writing, rewriting, and always the word count was 1, 65 or 51. Ridiculous. I give up. Not worth it. Martha Stewart is a convicted felon whom I don’t respect anyway. Who cares.
